The location is perfect and all in all a superb break in a very relaxed setting.
Beautiful location, good atmosphere and pretty luxurious considering the price.
The location is quiet and peaceful, the hotel is big enough that you don't feel in the way.
The location is very scenic and both times we've had snow, which made it picture-postcard perfect.
All the good walking and activities start around Coylumbridge, so we ended up paying the odd £4 cab fare (no big deal).
This was not a quality hotel, just a dingy, cold backroom with a 3/4 size bed, dirty cups, broken heating and a bare 40 watt light bulb to light the room.
Characteristic room, laid out with taste, with the most comfotable bed Id ever slept in.
This room was also nice with a beautiful 5ft sleigh bed.
The room: we stayed in room 8, which was nicely appointed with a very fluffy bed.
Rooms superb with great views - Room 5 is a corner room with 3 windows and fantasic views.
Nice cosy bar, pleasant restaurant and good selection of wine.
The bar is cosy and the food is excellent.
The service excellent, comfortable room and in the restaurant the food was well presented.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, packed lunches or light lunches were available if required and dinner, served in the formal dining area, was superb.
After searching for a quality restaurant in the area whilst staying in the Newtonmore, the Rowan Tree provided the dining experience we were looking for on this trip to Scotland.
I have found the owners and staff to be very friendly and accomodating - there when you need them.
They staff were very attentive, never pushy.
All served by friendly staff in very nice surroundings and lovely hotel.
The hotel is very comfortable and this includes all the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The rooms are clean and quite acceptable, without being luxurious.
Also the rooms are a bit chintsy, and couldn't really be described as luxurious, but are definitely clean and comfortable.
