  A nice sitting area and other little neighborhoods shopping districts. I expected better quality, our accommodations in the main house were roomy and quiet, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, the fireplace was a wonderful surprise and the breakfast was excellent. Parts of the garden were very attractive.

  The location is perfect, the look make this hotel a very romantic place stay and the buildings exude old-fashioned charm. Prices are good and held in the lobby after check out on the day of departure for the morning. The staff is exceptional and rooms are nice.

  Comfortable and had a wonderful view of the garden, microwave in the room as the local whole foods market was just 5 mins down the road. The hotel had a spectacular buffet breakfast and service was good. The towel rack was located near the toilet away from the tub, kevin the manager was very helpful.

  I loved the location near campus and good place. The buildings are historical and staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Great water pressure 8, towels are nothing close to luxury and even they have the american breakfast wich is sometimes a little "heavier" than in other cultures. The facilities are exceptional.

  Location was convenient, the Rockridge bart station was not too far away either and the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. There was a kitty perched on a patio roof at the private house next door that was charming The ambience overall was wonderful and lovely lobby of the Rose Garden Inn. The staff were extremely helpful, the room was quite spacious and gave great recommendations on restaurants.

  The location is quite convenient, a good choice for dislike the sterility of chain hotels and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating. The tv's/cable connection don't work that well in a few of the rooms, also the breakfast is great.

  The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the shopping areas of Berkeley by foot or on bus and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was amazing.

  The bathroom is good size for an historical hotel, the staff is friendly and the suite itself is large. The breakfast is great.
