Room Mate Laura Madrid - 马德里

Laura was located closer to the Opera House and Arenal -- a convenient location for sightseeing, but it was a little bit removed, on a side street that seemed a little seedy at night.

Very good location and well situated in the heart of the Madrid historical district.

location, hotel was very close to a large number of the sights of Madrid and the staff was helpfull.

5 min walking from opera metro, really close to gran via and by foot about 20 min from del prado museum.

Took the metro from airport to Opera stop.

位置用好形容都不够,2分钟能走到地铁站,10秒就能到所有的酒吧和餐厅,太有趣了.

Pluses: wonderful location, very nice staff (all spoke perfect English), nice breakfast with good coffee and food selection, super-stylish decor, "duplex" rooms are huge (on two floors) and very funky, very good restaurant right across the street.

The staff were also helpful, as others have mentioned - on the day we left they were willing to open the restaurant early for us to have breakfast (our flight was in the morning).

The fact that it had no bar or restaurant made it a no-fuss hotel, and with so many facilities nearby there would really be no need.

The free breakfast is really fantastic--most free hotel breakfasts (at least in the states) consist of bad coffee, instant oatmeal, bagels, and some sorry looking fruit.

Furthermore the decoration is great, the staff is very service oriented and the design of the room is very modern and nice.

If you are looking for a luxury hotel with a pool, spa, etc.

I have to be honest, I did miss a gym, pool and room service like other hotels would normally have.

The remote opened the gates and called the lift automatically and opening the doors.

Free wireless internet was also available.

Two very small gripes: first of all, the hotel advertised a free wi-fi connection, and maybe it's the fault of my computer, but we couldn't connect (and the man at the desk at the time was of very little help).

Clean, tidy and unusual rooms with facilities definitely exceeding our expectations, pleasant breakfast - would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Madrid.

Comfortable and clean room, best restaurants.

Staff is very friendly and helpfull, be greeted by spotless rooms, the very tasty breakfast buffet till noon.

Moreover rooms are stylish and clean, buffet breakfast is great - tea.

The rooms were certainly different, clean and well equipped however it lacked any atmosphere and a little cold and unwelcoming.
