This place is situated in a lovely residential area with a traditional breakfast and a nicely decorated room.

Quaint property, well-maintained and appointed. Good views from each room. Comfortable common areas. Good breakfast. Great location, quiet yet accessible.

The rooms are well-appointed with nice furnishings. Central heating, an individual safe, and multi-channel television are provided. The hotel is located in a magnificent residential neighborhood. Conveniently located near hiking trails, Zugspitze, castles, a wood-carving shop, and the Eibsee.

The breakfast here is truly delicious and satisfying. Our room was quite cozy, with its own balcony, seating area, and even a comfy couch. Plus, the view of the mountains from here is absolutely breathtaking! 🏔️

The dedicated staff all round. Location close to the beautiful mountains and a really good wood-carving shop.

Clean hotel with excellent facilities, including pool, sauna, and steam room. Delicious breakfast and dinner with vegetarian options. Great location with easy access to transportation and scenic views. Friendly staff.

Our suite (apartment) was big, clean, fresh and comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The staff was friendly, the food was good, the location tranquil and quiet.We really liked the atmosphere in this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Atmosphere, the attitude of the staff, superb restaurant and very nice hotel, just a ridiculous price

Would stay again and again, a warm stay for a weekend or longer. The location is stunning and marvellous, steps away from city center. There's a wide range of restaurants to choose from, like Zum Dorfbrunnen, located within 10 minutes walk or so.

It was all superb.

Best Food and Location

Food was fantastic and well presented. The location was easy to access and close to everything. The view from the balcony was also amazing.

The walls were thin and we could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms. It was uncomfortable and made it difficult to relax.

Breakfast (it's a very good one) on the sunny terrace facing the woods and the Zugspitze.

The hotel seems to be a place directed to boring square people ("spießig" they are called in Germany) and the high staff (I.E. the people at the reception) are definitelly oriented to make them feel nice and "safe". On the other hand, we were a couple of young people not exactly matching with the other guests and we had the feeling that we were not exactly wellcome by the receptionist and rest of the high staff: they were acting in a "correct" manner, but they were the least proactive staff that I have met in my life, and they lacked of any possible eloquence when being enquired about anything; you could clearly see that they were not willing to help us, though still did the minimum so that we could not actually raise any justified complaint. However, the rest of staff (I.E. the waiters, cleaning ladies, etc.) were extremely nice and polite, so this negative assessment is only directed to the "high" staff.

A little off the beaten path so the staff was less fluent in English than in other hotels we stayed in. Clientele was on the older side.

I recently stayed at the Romantik hotel in Grainau and had a truly delightful experience. The staff at the hotel were incredibly sweet and courteous, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself is charming, with a cute and cozy atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and filled with natural light, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bathroom was also of high quality and cleanliness. The location of the hotel was fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the Alps and being conveniently close to Eibsee. the parking area was nice and convenient. I found the Romantik hotel to be a great value for money, offering wonderful amenities and a picturesque setting.
