Romantik Hotel Schwarzer Adler Innsbruck - 因斯布鲁克

Lovely inn that sparkles with crystals, great staff, perfect quiet location close to old city center, fabulous dinner served on the roof top overlooking the city and surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Good location close to the swarming shopping streets and so there are fewer rooms than in the larger.

The location is close to the train station, tourist area,etc.

Stay here if you can afford one of the better rooms- it's in a good location- and eat elsewhere.

Innsbruck war die letzte Station auf meiner Europareise und ich hatte mir wirklich das Beste bis zum Schluss aufgespart, denn ich kann das Hotel Schwarzer Adler wirklich nur loben.

The room was great, large bathroom, king bed with individual down comforters--heavenly.

We started and ended our visit to Austria at this hotel and our second stay included a room with hard wood floors and a four poster bed.

The room is nice although, like most of Austria, they give you two comforters for the double bed.

The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable and the air conditioner did not work, quite unfortunate given the warm summer weather.

The location was great for both business and pleasure, our room was spacious and nicely furnished and we enjoyed a fabulous bathroom.

We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t vouch for the restaurant, but I can report that the two upstairs dining rooms were doing good business with both locals and guests when we were there.

Most of our evenings were planned and on our one free night the restaurant was booked solid - the food smelled wonderful and I was so jealous we couldn't eat there.

We don't usually eat in hotel restaurants but decided to eat at the Adler as we liked the menu.

The staff was helpful, breakfast was excellent too.

The rooftop restaurant made for a spectacular evening.

Regarding staff: I stay in around thirty hotels a year on business, and I’ve never come across a more friendly or efficient reception desk.

I called the hotel and the front desk personnel arranged to have sandwiches, fruit, etc in the room when we got back.

The next day we spoke to the receptionist about our concerns and she brought the restaurant manager (Mr Schlotz)to us.

We opted for the set menu but while the food might have been good if the service could have supported it, we seemed to get our 4 courses only when the kitchen was not busy servicing the conference.

I had a massage and used the jacuzzi which was so relaxing.

The lift was not working so we all walked up to the third floor --- no problem for us.

The room was clean although the furnishings were dated.

The staff were wonderful, the rooms small but modern and clean and each different!
