The hotel offers clean accommodations with an efficient staff. Our room was spacious and featured a sunken bathroom, a four-poster bed, and a walk-in wardrobe. Its location is fantastic, being close to the town center and just a 5-minute walk from Marktplatz. The hotel is conveniently located near both the town square and the train station.

We enjoyed OUTSTANDING food. This hotel was set in a central area short walk to close walk to train station, the center of Rothenburg- and the main areas of the city.

The room I booked was good sized and provided with 2 bedrooms, a nicely renovated, for example. The excellent and efficient staff truly made me feel welcome. The hotel was located in the heart of the city. Truly enjoyed my stay.

The Romantik Hotel Markusturm in Rothenburg is a delightful place to stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, with modern amenities like central heating, a variety of TV channels, and a coffee maker. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious.

The rooms have 2 sofa beds, which was super convenient for our stay. It was awesome that the German Christmas Museum was just a short walk away from here. 🎄

Overall just perfect stay for an incredible town. Perfect and magnificent location just off the city centre, the Romantic Road, and the interior town wall, only 5 minutes walk from Rothenburg Christmas Market. Great to have a traditional restaurant for dinner.

The hotel was charming old and fairly clean, it had strong wi-fi, its location was wonderful wonderfully close to the market square. The private parking was nearby, good service.

Some people working there were quite busy.

Family atmosphere and family room with bathroom in between. Amazing location in Rothenburg Old Town district near centre of town and the city center. Also, near all the prime sights.

Breakfast disappointing.

The value for money at Romantik was excellent - fair and reasonable. The room was lovely, with old-school charm and modern conveniences. The location was perfect, just off the marketplatz but still quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and cheerful.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved slightly.

Generally attentive staff including chef; qualitatively very good breakfast, especially worth mentioning the fully ripe pineapple, the good olive oil with the tomato mozzarella, the well ripened sausage and waffle dough as well as the many good teas from Ronnefeld, great old furniture, good bathroom, clean, solid but cleanly produced and tasty dinner, good information

Employees should be able to speak either German or/and English: this was not the case with the blonde Eastern European woman in the breakfast service. Consequently, she brought some black tea without asking which of the 16 varieties one wanted. She did not understand the corresponding complaint in either of the two languages. It is weak that the boss allows this to happen in this way; small things have to be improved at the breakfast buffet, so there should be small bowls for the open jam; the rolls were good and fresh in themselves, but without surface tension. Two minutes of baking in the oven do wonders here. The mattresses were not so good anymore. They have to be replaced once, by thicker ones, as today, one bumps at the edge of the bed.
