      This hotel is in a great location just a short walk away from the bus or train station.

      The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance to the station, shops, square and harbour.

      The hotel was in a great location, if your looking for basic clean accomodation then I can't fault it.

      About 100yds from the bus station so unless you have very heavy luggage don't get ripped off for an £8 taxi fare for all of 1-2 minutes ride.

      It is convenient to the Station, and check in was OK - you provide a passport, they provide a key.

      If you get stuck in a handicapped room, switch rooms as soon as you can - the showers in these rooms flood the entire bathroom and bedroom area (a problem that was not fully addressed until several days later).

      The room had the biggest, squeakiest bed we’ve ever slept in – we were afraid to turn over because it was so loud.

      The rooms were lovely and some even have a bathtub.

      The toilet works, the sink and shower produce hot water on demand.

      There is a jug in the room which has a marvellous facility for switching off when the water is half heated.

      Breakfast was adequate and typical of a normal continental breakfast.

      Don't let descriptions of the continental breakfast fool you.

      I found that a traditional breakfast in Italy does not include much more that coffee, milk, and bread of some sort.

      There was a breakfast, which was adequate (but the worst of the three Italian hotels we stayed in this trip).

      The breakfast included all the usual cheese, salami, ham and croissants that you get throughout Italy but there was also cream cheese and a lot of different jams.

      The staff was friendly but often slow to respond to my needs.

      Add to this a surly staff and this is a hotel I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

        Fine location for city trip, good continental breakfast - could see from the train station and the front desk didn't have change for my 20 euro bill. Additionally the rooms have been very nicely renovated.

        Store next to hotel made the sleep impossible, the car must be parked in a payment public "autosilo" approximately 200 meters away and yellow leather sofa not a big hit.

        The location was wonderful and i liked that was easy walk from train station. The hotel was small, the price was great and the internet in the lobby had a free period. The staff were very helpful and friendly, room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was good.

        Ideal location near station, two fairly large grocery stores and trieste was a wonderful town to include in our trip to Italy. Additionally roma Hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was outstanding in both service as well as attitude, the apartment was modern. The breakfast was adequate.
