Rodd Charlottetown Hotel - 夏洛特敦

Amazing location in the city, the attractive decor and i expected much better for the price I paid.

The location is superb and the hotel is classic.

Very central location to downtown attractions and the decor was nice.

2 big tour buses with diesel engines idling in front driveway and a "do it yourself" baggage handling system clinched our disappointment.

When we arrived, we had to park in back because of the tour buses taking up the front entrance.

Bed was a queen size and was placed in corner so that it is difficult to get into on the window side of room.

I ended up wearing my shoes the entire time, even going from the bed to the bathroom.

We had a standard room with two double beds and plenty of space to walk around.

The staff were polite and helpful, the bed was comfortable.

The bed was firm and the linens were adequate.

Breakfast in dining room was ordinary and the waitress told us that the buffet had been picked over by the tour group who checked out quite early in the morning, so she didn't think we would want that.

Chambers, the restaurant on the Ground Floor, offered excellent food for the value (a 3-course dinner for $15) and they could serve us dinner in a short time of 1 and a 1/2 hours before our Anne of Green Gables show.

Tim Hortons nearby opens at 6:00 in the morning and we could get some breakfast before boarding the ferry from PEI to the mainland at 8:30 a.

Both meals I felt were quality meals and fairly priced.

The hotel has a historical beauty to, the front desk staff was very polite and the beds were also extremely comfortable.

The staff at the front desk were mediocre at best, the shower worked well.

RoofTop Balcony has a great view, hotel is clean and friendly staff prepared to quickly respond to all requests.

The Charlottetown's beautiful historic building was a sight for sore eyes and the lobby was very elegant.

The lobby was very elegant, in a classically Victorian kind of way.

It was obvious that the lobby had been lovingly restored.

The staff were very helpful, the bedroom was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was clean, the staff were also very friendly and helpful, our room was next to the stair well.

Other than that, the room was clean and the decor was nice.

Additionally the service was fast, the room was clean.
