Overview

Being an essential feature of life in Geneva the five-star Le Richemond is set in the business district in the heart of the city. It lies north of the River Rhone close to Lake Geneva (Lac Leman) and Brunswick Gardens. The world tallest fountain Jet d'Eau, the Jura Mountains and the gorgeous Alps are overlooked from the hotel.

With historic elegance and contemporary design Le Richemond keeps good traditions and values and introduces the latest technology and modern standards of service.

For business there are five flexible functional meeting spaces fitted with the latest equipment and ready to host meeting, conference, presentation a well as banquet, wedding and other celebrations. There are the following ballrooms and boardrooms: The Ballroom, Chambesy. Coppet, Paul Klee, Large Gallery and Small Gallery.

Beautifully designed Le Spa offers its guests fitness studio with the latest TechnoGym equipment for cardio and fitness-training and the Kinesis machine, sauna and steam room with home-made energising tea, reclining lounge chairs, peace sounds of the cascading waterfall and the chromotherapy lights. All treatments are inspired by a mix of Eastern and Western techniques with the using of natural materials. Working hours are from 7am to 10pm.

Le Richemond is situated on Jardin Brunswick in the center of the city. The major Geneva`s attractions, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops are close to it. Art deco glamour Le Bar offers a great many of drinks and light meals throughout the day and a various cocktails and wines as well as live jazz in the evening.

Les Terrasses at Le Jardin and Le Bar are opened in the spring, summer and fall featuring a wonderful view of Lake Geneva.

Getting there

By train: Geneva Central train station is a five-minute walk from the hotel while Cornavain train station is a seven-minute walk from the hotel. Take Chantepoulet street to Dorciere Place, then turn left and you will see Le Richemond.

By air: hotel is a 20-minute drive from Geneva Cointrin International Airport which is 6km away.

By car from Geneva Airport: follow signs in the direction of central Geneva on Louis Casai Avenue. This eventually turns into Meyrin Street, which turns into Servette Street and finally Chantepoulet Street. At the end of Chantepoulet, please turn left on to Dorciere Place, at which point you will see Le Richemond in front of you.

The location is an excellent one, g heated mirrors to stop steam build up and i stay at the hotel on a regular basis and find the service amazing. The prices are good and staff are wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, fantastic bar on ground floor and the restaurant terrace on the square is always a great pleasure.

The view was amazing, the hotel was excellent and the spa staff were able to provide earphones. Our room was huge and the food was also very good. The maitre and waitresses were fast and kind.

The location is perfect as is right in the City Center, easy to use Geneva transportation, the Best hotel I have ever been in and finally, the staff are eager to help you and the service is great. The marble bathrooms are particularly luxurious and breakfast in the sun on the terrace makes for a further wonderful start of a day.

Rooms are quite spacious and location is perfect, the food is of a very high quality and great Italian flavours. Staff is extremly friendly, the bathroom is one of the most luxurious ones I have been in and le restaurant est excellent et vous ne serez pas déçu par les plats proposés.
