Clean and tidy. Good location next to river and walking distance to township.

Handy to very pretty town, nice view over countryside, direct access from the carpark for my elderly mother and her walker, Sky tv for the Rugby World Cup. And available on a night when Hamilton was hosting a RWC game!
Been rather grand in its day, but looking a little tired now. Maybe time to refurbish?

Not bad for the price
No channel 3 on TV - not told Upon arrival was asked to pay before seeing room which turned out to be unsuitable. However when we complained we were given a better and more suitable room .

We were welcomed by the daughters of the owner, it was quite funny. The room was very comfortable, the bed had heating maltress (which is important for a trip in October).
The fridge, in the room, is not a great idea; it woke us up during the night. The sink in the bathroom is pretty low, even for me (less than 1.60 metres).
