Interior was spacious and clean, reception desk service was courteous.
Safe historic Foggy Bottom rowhouse street and circular bus route so easy access to the centre of Washington.
Very good value for money, friendly staff and the room was comfortable as was the bed.

The location is great and very convenient to the metro, the mall, kennedy center, and gwu, the River Inn is One of the Best Hotels Weve Stayed at in Years, the corporate suite is spacious and even has a pull out sleeper sofa.
