The hotel is located by a peaceful river, perfect for enjoying the sunshine in the morning with a cup of coffee. The beautiful garden provides a tranquil setting to relax and unwind. Guests can also take a short walk to a local pub, known for its delicious food, although we didn't have the opportunity to try it ourselves.
The hotel lacks certain amenities that would enhance the overall experience.

Stayed for a city break and enjoyed the peaceful location in a beautiful garden by the river. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh ingredients and proper rustic bread. The room had its own private bathroom across the hallway, and the bed was very comfortable.
The shower was a bit small, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

I recently stayed at a lovely B&B in a charming location near Sherborne Castle. The warm welcome from the owners, Kim and Barry, made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and opened out to a beautiful garden with a peaceful river. The shower was one of the best I've experienced, with a generous flow of water and easy-to-use controls. The breakfast, cooked with local produce, was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail and excellent service from the hosts made this the perfect B&B experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Sherborne/Yeovil area.

Friendly and knowledgeable proprietors. Excellent breakfast with varied choice. Ideal location for touring and exploring South Somerset. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms with garden access. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of options to choose from. The fact that the breakfast was made with all local produce and ingredients made it all the more special. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring the town and all its attractions. It was easily accessible and conveniently located near everything we wanted to see and do.
The room could have used some improvements. Despite being comfortable, the furniture seemed a bit dated and worn out.
