Riva Hotel Taksim

因为我随身没有带土耳其货币里拉,没法给出租车司机付账,他们还派其中一个员工还随我到货币兑换局.

机场大巴就在广场角落里停(从酒店步行30秒钟就可到),因此及时到达机场根本不成问题.

When we reached the hotel (pretty convenient since the hotel is actually not very far, about 100m from the main Taksim street, so luggage transport is really easy if you are on a free and easy trip).

浴室需要翻新,不过挺干净,因此我并不介意.

Very helpful staff for the breakfast, same choices every day fixed good.

We managed to strike a deal at US$110 which supposed to include a total two nites stay with breakfast and transfer from hotel to airport (this is off-peak period).

Breakfast is very various and satisfying.

There was a group of greek people having their breakfast and they were all smoking like a chimney therefore we were unable to enjoy our breakfast.

Little grocery shops are around the corner of the hotel and opens till late into the night.

Upon check in at the reception, the reservations lady tried to adjust the rates to US$110 per nite stay, giving some lame excuse and the hotel is fully booked (note during off-peak time esp winter season, hotels are usually less than half occupied!

The staff are really helpful and the shower is exceptionally pleasant.

Apart from the previous little episode at the reception, the hotel is really convenient to get around the Taksim centre, where the shopping areas are all within walking distance (ie if you have a map of course!

On our departure, the hotel staff said that hotel transfer would cost Euro20 per person (this was suppose to be inclulded?

So we took the coach service and continue to our next destination.

Location is excellent betwen Hagia Sophia, the Riva Hotel is located in a pleasantly quiet area close to the Taksim square and rooms are clean and small.

Also proper level of services, also the rooms are very clean and neat, breakfast is very various.

Staff are very friendly, bathroom is clean and breakfast is nice.
