Don’t let the boring concrete façade scare you away from this delightful hotel. The theme of the décor is minimalism and it is very well done. The sleeping rooms have clean pleasant lines with lovely modular furniture. The suites have more color and bright cheerful carpeting.

Overview

Ripa is an ultra-modern hotel located in a lively Trastevere area, near river Tiber in the extreme proximity to St. Peter, the Vatican and Porta Portese flea market. Spanish Steps, Imperial Forum, and Trevi Fountain can also be found in the very neighborhood of the site.

The property consists of 170 air-conditioned rooms, including non-smoking and disabled rooms; all appointed with a complete bathroom, Internet, mini-bar, heating, telephone, sat TV, hair-dryer and a terrace.

The ‘Suite’, the on-site restaurant, and a cozy sushi bar offer the guests Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. Continental and buffet breakfasts are also available.

Excellent hotel considering the price we paid and very friendly staff.
Very close to Trastevere station has direct link to the airport and the hotel is clean I fail too see you can say that the hotel is poor in standards.
The staff were very helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean, the restaurants just off the piazza's offered the best food we had in Italy.
