While I would recommend the hotel, just so you know, you get what you pay for.
The location is very pleasant, position of hotel next to famous TOR gate and located in the historical building in the old part of the city.
Beautiful location, with many rooms facing the Obertrave river and the famous Holstentor.
The restaurant at the hotel is very good, and the hotel provides a great location for walking around in the charming city of Lubeck.

After all, it was a double room with extra bed, not a triple room or an apartment.
Stayed at the Jensen for two nights in May 2005 in a double room with extra bed for 98 Euros per night.
My room was normal continental style in size for a singleroom and the bathroom was spacious.
The honeymoon suite is very big and has a wonderful bathtub for two.
Two of the three children of ours had to share a bed but it was still more pros in the hotel.
Excellent location in Old Town, river was perfect and very good restaurant attached to the hotel we ate on both evenings.
But I would not recommend their restaurant, since we found the food boring and not the best service.
Helpful staff, comfortable - breakfast very good.
Breakfast itself was very nice and the receptionist was very friendly.
Another nice touch was having the Herald Tribune available for purusal at breakfast.
In addition reception staff very helpful, clean rooms and well prepared typical German food.
A great view over the river, the hotel provides good service and female staff at desk extremely friendly and helpful.
