This hotel is a hidden gem along the beautiful Ao Nam Mao beach. The location is simply perfect, right on the beachfront with breathtaking views of the bay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with their own balconies and a screen for added privacy. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The breakfast provided is tasty and a great start to the day.

No improvements needed, everything was fantastic.

We are a mature couple 50 & 60 travelling South East Asia for 4 months. We found Rimlay Villas at the end of our mammoth trip and used it as a complete chill out for 10 nights before we were due to return to England. Nui the owner & her lovely staff made sure we had a wonderful time and could not do enough for us ... Rimlay Villas is a new developement of semi attached & very beautifully designed rooms. All the rooms are excellently decorated,comfortable and immaculate & they have views of the excellent pool & sea & beach.. We loved the peace & quiet of Ao Nam Mao Bay that Rimlay is in and twe loved seeing beautiful lizards around the lovely gardens some of a flying variety & we saw some lovely birds & butterflies, even Buffalo coming down to the beach in the late afternoon, early evening. Although the Sea is very tidal & rocky it was great when the tide went right out as it often did so we could go exploring & rockpooling & watching local fishermen with their hand nets catcing an array of small tropical fish & squid.Nui or a member of her staff would run us into town either Ao nang or to Krabi town to visit the the shops & night market & we would get a local taxi back. On two occassions during our stay Nui took us to the local food market so we could purchase some lovely fresh fish, prawns & squid which she then allowed us to cook on a B.B.q which was excellent and allowed us to have a get together with other guests who became friends.We were only charged a cooking fee as we had all purcased our own produce. The menu is slightly limited but anything we particularly wanted to eat she would try an accommodate us or would organise for any produce that we may have purchased to be cooked for us. Even little touches like providing mosquito repellent cream and burners each evening in the restaurant when we went for dinner.

There was nothing that we didn't like about Rimlay but a word of warning .. If you want to swim alot in the sea then care is needed as there are many sharp rocks and some of the sea bed has mud due to the presence of Mangroves!

We had a great experience at this place, with friendly staff and excellent facilities. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and offers a breathtaking sea view from our room. It's also within walking distance of all the amenities we needed, including Ao Nam Mao Beach.

We had a four day reservation and added another three days since we thought so highly of the villas, staff and the ambiance. Beach is very for walking, surroundings are so quiet and peaceful...perfect for R&R. Everyone was so helpful and the service was excellent. The villas were very clean,well equiped and well maintained. Nui was exceptional. She was very accommodating and made us feel like welcomed friends. She is a very hardworking lady who will do just about anything to make sure you enjoy your visit...at a very good price point...the best we found during our 6 week stay in Thailand.Thank you to all for a wonderful time.

Not really an issue-actually helps keep the shore very private.....The water is shallow with rocks and a muddy sand bottom, it is not very good for swimming. The water is as clean as most beaches but it is less clear probably because of the muddy bottom.

Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff here. We were made welcome from the minute we arrived and before when they phoned to assist with the location of this new premises. It is at Nammao beach which is a bit stones and not suitable for swimming however a short walk down the beach leads to clear sand. It has a lovely pool so this was adequate for our needs. The owner took us to local markets where we purchased fish and vegetables which they cooked for a nominal fee. It was home from home and all the guests were made to feel this way so communal barbecues were a good way to get to know each other. I can't think of anything else they could do to help us enjoy our stay. Look out we will be back

It's hard to be picky when you're in a place like this traveling on a budget. I felt it was great value for money.

The Rimley Villas are well equiped and very clean little houses with direct ocean view. They are situated a little bit outside of the city on a beautiful spot right on the beach. But still the city (ao nam) is just a 5 minutes car ride away. The owner of this place (mamma nui) is very frendly and provides a lot of helpful information for her guests. She took excellent care of us and helped us a lot with the organisation of our stay. Once she took us to a local market and organised a BBQ in the evening with the food that we bought there. She also took us to several other places and showed us interesting spots ot the region. Also in the resort is a nice little restaurant where you can eat the tasty breakfast that is included and other delicious menus. All in all there is a very familliary athmosphere in this resort and it is a paradise for people who want to relax and enjoy themselfs outside of the big crowded cities.

The restaurant location on the seaside with a view of the sunsets is stunning. The hotel is close to the beach, but the water is too shallow. There are some decent outside restaurant options in the Krabi area. The room is clean and nicely furnished with new linen. The facilities include a fantastic pool.

The long tail boat noise can be quite disturbing at times.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always providing their assistance promptly. They even allowed me to have breakfast earlier than the scheduled time to cater to my needs. The hotel facilities were excellent and clean, including the refreshing pool that overlooked the beautiful sea and the comfortable rooms with a balcony and a stunning view of the surroundings. Additionally, the location of this hotel was convenient as it was situated near a market and provided transportation for trips out to the islands around.

This place is a perfect break from the hustle-bustle of the cities and offers a relaxing vacation. The location is conveniently located around 5 minutes away from the nearest city, making it easy to reach. The beachfront property looks amazing and has a beautiful pool. The staff here is very friendly and the food served here is delicious. Plus, the free transport service is surely an added bonus!

While the view is amazing and the beach is easily accessible, I did not like the outdated facilities and furniture. The smell coming from the water fridge was not very pleasant, and the noise from the heavy machinery working nearby was constantly present.

Had a great Easter getaway at a villa resort in Krabi. Loved the stunning sea view from the restaurant and the refreshing pool. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. The shuttle service to nearby attractions was convenient. enjoyed the easy access to a nearby boat pier for island hopping.

The villa was located quite far from the main town, which made getting around a bit inconvenient. the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak, making it difficult to connect to the internet.
