If you go by train from Geneva, you have to change at Visp or Brig. If you travel from Basel, Zurich, Berne or Milan, change at Brig. “Glacier Express” from Chur or St. Moritz will get you right to Zermatt! If you travel by car, you need to drive to the village Täsch.

The location is just wonderful, the Zermatt valley lamb filet mignon on hot stone is divine and a great place to get away from all. Universally, the staff are smart and well dressed at all times, the rooms are spacious, enough restaurant options to keep fresh. The spa is good.

Super views, spectacular hotel and the staff are the best and the postioning is breathtaking. The rooms are clean and feels new, the food is wonderful, christina, the reservations manager, is very helpful and courteous. The spa is even more amazing.

Perfect location and the Best Hotel. Very skillful and attentive staff, very nice rooms, good food, in the main restaurant and in the Swiss specialties restaurant. Excellent dinners, great beer and champagne too, the spa was fantastic.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, the food is excellent and the location is amazing, the hotel is just outstanding, rooms are romantic, fully equipped and very, very comfortable. Wonderful service and true Swiss effeciency, the Spa is one of the best in Switzerland.

As for location, was great to be up on the mountain away from everything and the staff at the hotel was wonderful. Service was polite and efficient, the room was amazing, food was excellent.

The rates are reasonable because of location service its perfect, the place is charming in summer too and staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. And the Matterhorn of course, i could just keep looking out of the window.

The staff is, without exaggeration, the hotels best asset, good service and the jacuzzi tub was a great treat as was the pool and spa. Restaurant was delicious.

This place just gets better and better, excellent staff. We especially liked the towel warmers and the cushy bathrobes and slippers, good food. A fabulous dinner in the walliserkeller ; 5, very nice Swiss speciality resturant in the basement.
