      Situated 90 minutes by train from the South of Munich in the town of Garmish, the hotel is surrounded by Bavarian Alps on three sides. The hotel is actually located in the hills of Garmisch, right next to the Riessersee lake, and has splendid views of Garmisch and Partenkirchen. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk to the town center. The guests can visit Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castles, which are also nearby.

        The surrounding area was lovely and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The service was excellent, our room was spacious and had many amenities, bar were wonderful. The breakfast was amazing, pool was very nice.

        Great location for hiking, countryside beautiful and a really nice hotel in a wonderful setting at the riessersee. Staff were very friendly and the temperature in the hot tub was barely warm. Jacuzzi was was good and food was excellent.

        Great location by the beautiful lake and way up the hill. Altogether a good stay and nice design of the lobby and room. The staff were courteous and friendly and check in / out was very efficient, the breakfast was wonderful, well presented.

        The location and the wellness area were just superb, everyone during my stay was extremely friendly and helpfuly. Awesome service from the moment we walked in the door, room was nice, clean, spacious and the breakfast was wonderful and wait staff were excellent.

        Calm staying near the lake and lovely area. Great German hotel for adults, very helpful staff and the furniture was beautiful and the pant press was appreciated.

        Restaurant was closed except for breakfast buffet and here the menus choice was very limited.

        I liked the location up on the hill away from town and beautiful place. Friendly staff, functional room and happy hour in the bar each evening. Great recommendations for restaurants, lovely Getaway in the German Alps and the spa facilities looked very inviting.
