  Our room was clean and servicable, although a bit on the cramped size as we had three teenage sons in tow. The common room was a good place for the kids to hang out with excellent wifi. We had no problems with the lifts and check out was fuss free. Suggest those that are using the public transport to buy a booklet available at ABC shops called The Bus - gives you details on how to get around the island.

  Yeah, the unit was a bit dated but other conveniences made up for that: plenty of towels, decent bathroom amenities such as an oatmeal bathbar, huge bathroom counter space, daily paper, etc. We liked having a full-sized fridge to store our water, pineapples, and Okinawan sweet potatoes (purple on the inside! We had no problems with the elevators and made use of the garage the last few days of our trip. This applies not only to the tight garage space (par for the course in any major city) but also across the island where parking spaces are small.

  It seemed to be in a part of the city where it was a little more quiet. We had a great clean room with a partial ocean view. The staff was very friendly and helpful and housekeeping was prompt with service everyday.

  Yes, the elevators are slow but it is a busy town with many people at any given time wanting to get on and off the lifts.

  We were greeted by friendly and professional staff at the front desk. Some remembered me from last year and that in itself made me feel very welcomed and of course the concierge always says "welcome home. I just call and make my reservations and for the most part, they know that I like an ocean view on a high floor. We had a problem with the TV and it shorted out. It happened to be very early in the morning and I certainly wasn't expecting anyone to come right away, but there was a maintenance person at my door within 5 minutes replacing my TV. I had mentioned that I couldn't get a local station clearly and even though he had left the room, he didn't give up until I had a clear reception for that channel. The people, food and entertainment,( Augie Rey and The Little Big Band), were awesome. I can always talk to the Staff at the Front Desk about where I have been or what I have done on my trip.

  The lifts were no major problem, its what u would expect in a large hotel a couple of minutes wait but no longer than 4mins at max. The paper was delivered every morning to our room and our room cleaned everyday. Staff are very friendly but the lobby and the whole hotel does need a facelift.

  Overall I would say the room was only ok, for the amount of money we paid i would've paid 100 bucks more to be on the beach in a room with no kitchen - didnt really use it mostly for breakfast only. The pool is quite small but we went down to the beach most days which is just a 2 min walk away.

  Our queen size bed was good.

  Parking garage is attached to hotel. The front desk has information with maps. Maid cleans your room everyday. The refrigerator is regular size.

  Hotel pool areas and beaches are not worth anything in the area but here you have a nice pool, complimentary wi fi, great little social room, inexpensive parking and friendly staff - room with a great view - can't beat it for the price. We really liked our room 3303 - mountain view. Very dated 80's but who cares as it was clean and the maid awesome.

  This hotel complex was in great shape and the suite was especially clean. It's a convenient location just on the edge of what we locals call the 'concrete jungle' known formally as Waikiki. We'd always find a convenient spot close to the elevator. And this parking lot was designed well with enough room between cars/SUVs so that you could easily park as well as get out of the vehicle in contrast to other hotel stalls where you'd wish for a lot more room. The cleanliness of everything in the room blew us away. Again, this was in comparison to other hotels in this price range we previously stayed at. We had a view of the Koolau mountains and the pool with the cute Honu (turtle) paintings were a pretty sight indeed.

  We were on the 11th floor and did have a wait for the lifts every now and then. The second bedroom was a bit small, but overall the size was good.

  The size of the room and the price made this a terrific bargain. Plus, the hotel was very accomodating for late check-out, had nice locker rooms,a tennis court and pool. We suggest asking for a different room if you don't like the one you are placed in -- you can't beat the price or location.

  We ended up staying in the hotel twice on the same trip, and we had two different rooms. While the first was spacious and had a great view of Waikiki beach (though stained windows), it smelled bad -- like strong food odors, which did marr our impression.
