  I got there and (because I'd read about the construction and also warned not to get a room next to elevators) I requested a room away from both. I was told that the only rooms with King beds was next to the elevator. I was given the option to pay an additional $50 per night to get a room with 2 beds on a high floor away from elevators and Trump construction. Once I got to the room , it had a wonderful view and the decor, etc. Newness (the room was updated and modern).

  Pool (always crowded with wayyy too many kids. Fitness room (This was small and while they DID have quite a few treadmills, it's inadequate for weighlifters).

  7 of us stayed at the Embassy Suites for my mother in laws 60th. We had 2x2 bedroom suites and they were great. Staff were very helpful and I dealt with most of them during our stay asking directions and recommendations. Not our usual breakfast but hubby made great use of the omelette chef. I liked the location and the fact it is not on the beach front did not bother me as we were going to Maui and only went swimming at Waikiki once since it is not exactly a great beach.

  The Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk was a great choice. They have excellent breakfast buffet and its only a block away from the busy waikiki beach. The pool is small and they have free cocktails in the afternoon.

  Nice rooms, though the Aloha tower is nicer than the Hula tower. The beachwalk is great with some nice new shops and some fun places to eat. The rooms are big and the pool area is quite nice (for those complaining about the size of this pool, this is a huge pool compared to other hnl pools- traditionally they are much, much smaller). The staff was quite nice and all were very helpful. One afternoon there were 40 plus kids in the pool.

  Arrival: We were greeted in the open air lobby by very friendly staff; thanks Jaymar. We didn't smell any fumes at any time that we were in the lobby area. Our room wasn't ready yet, so they gave us a "changing room" on the first floor. The room was beautiful but smaller than the one we resevered, as I found out later. POOL: The pool was large in size and it was nice to have the wading pool attached. ROOM: We were on the top floor with a corner suite and it was fantastic. The room was plenty big, the beds were very comfortable, and the bath big enough for two people to get ready at the same time. EVENING RECEPTION: Every night from 5:30 to 7:30; the snacks could improve as they were always the same and after 8 days it got kind of boring.

  We always stay at Embassy Suites when we can and this one keeps with the tradition and quality that you come to expect. The concierge and all of the staff were always friendly and helpful. You can never miss at Embassy with the full made to order breakfast and daily managers reception.

  We stayed at Embassy Suites recently during a work conference (yes, a conference is Hawaii), and loved it, the location is great with just a short stroll to the beach and located right amongst the new Waikiki Beach Walk. The rooms are lovely and basically brand new, with views to the ocean, depending on where you are located in the two towers. Our room looked over the pool, which was great for people watching, however a little noisy early in the morning when they turned the music around the pool and breakfast area. We had a laugh about the fact that not many other locations in the world could get away with the decor, still a little 70s, our lounge room chair was covered in fabric printed with pineapples. Overall would highly recommend the hotel, though once the Trump Tower is built this will block out most of the water veiws from the 2nd tower.

  The sitting room,bedroom, bathroom were spacious. The breakfast was fab and free afternoon cocktails with snacks starting at 5:00 or 5:30p.

  First it is highly priced comparable to others in the area and the rooms are small! They are suites if you can call them that ( more like one room cut into half)! The pool area is a joke and you can not see the ocean because of the high rises around you (to include directly in front of you, behind you, beside you, etc). Let me explain why the pool area is a joke! It is a pool that is onlyl three foot deep and at the deepest end which is 3 and half foot is a kiddie pool. So if you want to get away from kids because you do not have any forget about it because in the deepest part connected to the pool is the kiddie pool. The pool is also warm, not just warm as in warm but as in bath water warm. We tried to drink our money's worth for the hotel! The Service people who checked us in was rude, and they would like for you to sit down while checking in to make it more personal, however, you are herded like cattle to hurry up and move out of the seats quick. No one explains that you must use a key card to get in the elevator to go to your floor.
