The location is excellent - only minutes from most sightseeing spots, the hotel is located on a very private street and the staff are faultless - incredbily helpful.

JK Place, while a nice hotel, is located on a "rougher" part of town, near the train station and faces the most run-down piaza in Florence.

Then we moved into a beautifully spacious bedroom furnished with a huge four poster bed with beautiful linens, an antique desk, chairs, flatscreen tv and another 14 foot high frescoed ceiling!

6m high ceilings, with works of art all over the huge room, a separate area with a huge jacuzzi, amazing bed with linen sheets, marble floors, antique furniture, and a large, marble batroom, with a large shower.

The room was very large and the bathroom featured a marble bath and separate marble shower.

The bathroom was fitted with a separte footed bath tub, and also a spacious shower done in marble and glass.

The Suite de la Marchese was our favorite--we wished we'd booked it, but our room, the Camera degli Affreschi (room of frescoes) was unique and wonderful, with small reservations about the combined bath and shower.

One of the most beautiful hotels that I have had the pleasure to stay in, breakfast staff are outstandingly good.

First, the property is centrally located to the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife in Florence.

Additionally the staff was attentive, the receptionist was delightful and the rooms were large.

Hotel Staff were extremely pleasant, great customer service gave a homely and of course the room was nicely decorated.

The service was first class and the staff recommended nothing but the best restaurants in Florence.

From restaurant reservations to car service, they were on point every day.

But by the time I had taken the car to the nearby garage (parking is a huge problem in Florence, but, luckily, the Hotel has a deal with a nearby garage) and came back, the confusion had been settled.

Their second floor roof garden is one of the only two remaining in Florence and provides a welcome respite to the frantic pace of Florence.
