The hotel is located in historical center in pedestrian area. It is very hard to find it via gps. In shower hot water becomes hot after few minutes of flowing

The breakfast was quite nice and there was also a parking spot available, eventough not next to the hotel
The neighbourhood is bad and was quite scary at night with prostitutes and groups of young boys wandering around at night. I was a little afraid to leave the car out, however nothing happend.

It was good value for the price, but I can recomend to stay there just overnight.
The hotel is quite out of date with equipment and services. Not enough light in the room. Cleaness also not good.

The Old Town location is not a must for Setubal, as parking and access are not the best.

Residence Setubalense is a budget hotel and is clean and basic. We had a room on the 3rd floor which was adequate. Continental breakfast was good. There was an faint smell of sewage in the bathroom.
The hotel is situated in the old town which is a run down area, and the streets are very dirty.

Good location in the old town, just a few steps from bus station. Friendly staff.
Both corridors and the room were untidy. There were problems with water pressure in our room on the third floor.

Honestly, only the location.
The room was not clean, there was urine in the toilet's cover!! (The solution provided by the staff was cleaning it with toilet paper). The tv was broken, there were lot´s of noises during the night, the staff were neither nice nor helpful, the reception was suppose to be working 24h/day, but we had to go in until midnight. When we checked out they refused us the complaints book, and only made it available when we threatned to call the police. It was the worst place were I've beem in my life, don't stay here!!!

Almost nothing, just the location.
There were dust everywhere in the room (on furniture). Receptionist doesn't spoke English, and when I showed her the dust, she did nothing to clean it. So, the room service is terrible. To any of my request I didn't get normal response, just "sorry". That means nothing, because I was with a baby and we had special needs. I had to show, what I need . She didn't understand "boiling water", or "dust in the room", or "heating in the room". Besides, there was information, that heaters are in the rooms. There was cold and heating didn't work. And she didn't do anything in that case.
