The bathroom was equipped with a shower. An easy walk to tonnara del secco, only 4 km. Cook your meal in a kitchen.

Great location very close to the beach, but on the quiet picturesque side of the town, very neat, clean and comfortable apartments for a very lovely price, Francesco is a wonderful owner, really enjoyed our stay!

Be ready to bring your own soap, shampoos, other toiletries and also do the cleaning, within 4 nights cleaning stuff never showed up.

We were a group of 3 women in a house for 6 people; 2 dbl bedrooms upstairs and double sofa bed downstairs in the open plan lounge/kitchen/dinning area. We liked the following: the tranquility of the location, the spacious house with 2 bathrooms/WCs, our spacious, sunny, private terrace & garden. The wonderful views from the house, the plentyful linen and towels, the powerful AC/Heating units upstairs. But really our utmost praise goes to "Francesco" the owner of the Residence Il Baglio. Such a genuine person who is brilliant at his job. He was so accommodating; on the first day gave us a lift to and from the supermarket to do the 'big shop', a few days on we needed a chopping board and oven proof dish and later that day he arrived with said items, we wanted to rent bicycles, he phoned Aldo who arrived at agreed time to organise 3 bikes with baskets and locks for the week, we needed a taxi back to Trapani airport, he called Pino, who arrived promptly at 16:30 to collect us, also stopping along the way for a quick photo session. We liked being slightly out of the centre, we could be in town by foot in 10 minutes or bike in 4 minutes. The Residence Il Baglio is situated slightly up hill in the pine trees 5 mins from the marina and little fishing harbour, there are free tennis courts 5 mins away (bring your own rackets). We found the people of San Vito Lo Capo extremely friendly and willing to engage and assist. The beach and imposing hills in the background are spectacular. With it being low season we were lucky to have the beach almost to ourselves, we were told the place is packed in July and August. A Taxi from Trapani Birgi airport was 80 Euro for 3 people. There is a regular bus sevice in high season for about 8 Euro.

The walls are thin and you can hear the folk next door quite clearly, however, if you are the first ones up in the morning and the last ones to bed then it won't bother you. Alternatively pop your ear plugs in...What noise?

Perfect for us as a young family. Safe, residential street, which was extremely quiet and perfect for our young children, as each villa was gated which enabled kids to play outside but they were still contained! Villas were very well equipped and we all felt very at home almost instantly. Location to beach and marina was excellent. We liked it so much we extended our stay.

We`ve got a spacious 2 bedroom bungalow for 3 people. The residence was spotless and quite. A lot of young families with kids. Franchesco is a very pleasant person, always ready to help and advise.

The is no reception at the residence, so you have to make sure you pre-advise the staff on your arrival. Some basic facilities like electric water cooker, salt, pepper and maybe some vinegar or olive oil will definitely be a plus. No change of the towels during 3 nights stay.

Perfect location, silent neighborhood, parking available, spacious apartment, perfect even for 4-5 people.

All was great, but some minor things still - since there is a kitchen provided to enable self-catering, would suggest the owner to provide some basic stuff, like cooking oil and salt. As a budget traveller, you wouldn't bring these things everywhere with you.

It was convenient for the main beach and Via Savoia Francesco, the manager of Il Baglio, gave us discount cards for a restaurant and its connected cafe close to the beach which was very useful as both restaurant and cafe were very convenient and good value.

The directions for getting to Il Baglio were pretty useless. It would have been simpler to say follow the signs to San Vito lo Capo, take the left turn at the first roundabout in the town then the first right down the Via Mattarella and look for the signs to Il Baglio Residence. When we arrived at Il Baglio and followed the signs to the car park there was no sign where the reception was located. It turned out that we had to call the manager Franceso, who lives at Il Baglio but who's office is in the middle of town, and then wait for him to show up and take us to our rooms. The rooms were quite basic and we later found out that the aircon in the bedroom had a mind of its own and turned very cold during the night as well as being noisy. we stayed there four nights and didn't get a proper night's sleep on any of them.

The apartment was really as in the picture shown on Booked.net, a brand new two storey house with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and three showers, nice large garden outside, we truly enjoyed the place, the location, the furniture and the gentle touch of the owner taking care of the guests.

No reception, it was very uncomfortable. We stay there 3 weeks, there was no cleaning at all. The linen I changed by myself. The hotel staff just gave towels and linen to me to change only two times during 3 weeks. Kitchen was not good equipped, the oven didn't work at all. There were a lot of ants in room. And I don't understand why the owner gave us a number with a lot of stairs (even in wet bathroom) and on the second floor, despite the fact that we have a one year old baby and vacant numbers on the first floor.

Good location, very calm and quiet. we lived on the second floor. Our apartment had 2 balconies and big terrace with umbrella and table. It was very nice to have breakfast or dinner and see beautiful view. We stayed there for 2 nights and we liked it very much. Separate thanks to the owner Francesco. His smile and good mood left in us the best representation from this place.

There are not reception near residence. and when we came earlier of check-in time, we need to call and wait. We didn't know it. Thank our neighbours who told us about it.

It is good location close to the beach and the city center. All appartaments have their own terraces.

A kitchen wasn't good equippted with dishes and other accessories. It was really difficult to cook. During our period of stay (4 nights) the appartaments have never been cleaned and towels have never been changed. The shower is not seperate, so if you take a shower, all bathroom is wet.

Very helpful staff, really nice and friendly. Lovely room with a terrace on the back. Nice location and parking available. Would definately recommend.

We enjoyed how close we were to the beach, and how it has a kitchen!

Not enough linen for the beds, had enough towels though. Also the futton couch in the living room was not comfortable and it smelled like dust!

We stayed in a really nice 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. All the units are two levels with the bedrooms upstairs. Full kitchen but no microwave. Nice patio area outside with an outside shower, perfect for after the beach. The city center and gorgeous beach are a 5 minute walk away. Lo Zingaro is about a 15 minute drive and absolutely worth the hike to see the beautiful white pebble, crystal clear beaches.
