The pool is perfect after a footsore day sightseeing and this hotel is excellent value for money.

It would be a good idea to take a taxi to the hotel (about £20) on the first night but from then on - and to get back to Gare De Nord -take a bus (no, 54 from near the Metro stop) or metro.
Before arrival I was a little worried that we might be a little too far out of Paris for a short break, so I was pleasantly surprised how near it was to the Metro station and how easy it was to get around.
The hotel was very clean, with fresh towels and the bed turned down every day.

Clichy is a really nice residential neighbourhood, with lots of small shops, restaurants, cafes and boulangeries, patisseries and has a friendly and relaxed vibe which provides a really interesting contrast to the hustle energy of Paris.
The staff are very friendly indeed, the bar is open 24/7 + you have free internet access and the pool is lovely.
Aswell as clean towels every day, the breakfast was very nice and swimming pool free was the best for full relax.
