Rema Plaza Hotel Essen - 埃森

As the previous reviewer said, the room had all the standard business hotel amenities - bed, TV, desk, mini-bar, two chairs.

The room was super clean, amenities were excellent, from mini bar, office desk, small sitting space and highly functional bathroom and a good size tub.

The Hotel is very modern, really nice decor and the room we stayed at was very spacious, firm bed, fluffy pillows -- super cozy and comfy.

Breakfast only was offered - no lunch or dinner - but it's better than the average business hotel breakfast, with decent scrambled eggs and crispy bacon, among others.

It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station and near the "hipper" restaurants south of the city center.

The bar was open at night and apparently serves pizza and sandwiches, but I didn't try them.

There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel although we took a taxi.

The staff is very friendly and professional -- a service with a smile.

Free internet at reception area and this was also a view shared by my two American colleagues staying in the hotel during same period.

Location is good, this is one of the best Hotels in Essen.

There was also a decent bar in the hotel as well as an indoor pool/sauna that it shares with the next door apartment building.

There is also a terminal in the lobby where you can access free internet.

There is a pool but it is in an adjoinging building and can only be accessed at certain times.

The hotel was good, the rooms were very clean.

Furthermore staff was pleasant, rooms were clean and breakfast was also very good.
