We had a blast exploring the beautiful countryside and trying out some of the local activities. We rented bikes and went on an awesome adventure, zooming down the rolling hills and feeling the wind in our hair. And let me tell you, the golfing in the area was on another level. We challenged each other to intense mini-golf matches and had so much fun!
The only thing we wished for was a bit more nightlife nearby. As young party-goers, we were looking for some late-night fun but couldn't find any clubs or bars close to the resort.

Everything great.

The property is absolutely stunning with jaw-dropping beauty all around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering lovely balcony views. The breakfast in the morning is mind-blowing, especially the ricotta cake. The location is convenient, just a 5 min drive to the Saturnia Hot Springs, allowing you to beat the crowds. The resort offers free range to explore the beautiful vineyards and olive trees. The restaurant serves delicious food and their own wines, all while enjoying a beautiful outlook. The pool area is super relaxing and the staff is friendly and accommodating. it's a GREAT place to spend a couple of nights away, with its perfect location near the springs and charming small towns.

Mostly we enjoyed our hike around the vineyards and up to Montemerano.
We were there at the end of October and wished that we had been told ahead of time that it was off season at the hotel. The pool, spa, restaurant were all closed.

My room was excellent (for one person) and breakfast was outstanding, particularly the wide choice including scrambled egg, cereals, croissants, toast, fresh bread, jams, honey, fruit and delicious freshly baked cakes. To eat well at the restaurant ie 3/4 courses costs 45 euros or more and wines (all from their own vineyards) range from 14 euros upwards. (We had just 2 courses from a la carte - ample - for around 25 - 35 euros plus coffee). Lovely location surrounded by their own vineyards, olive groves and attractive garden. Nice swimming pool.
Lighting in the restaurant was a bit dim for us oldies!

Homemade Tuscan dishes, massages onsite, fascinating nature walks, generous welcome pack, typical Tuscan wine estate.
Oh, how delightful to pay extra for a dogsuitable "dependence"! And isn't it lovely to have a room without hot water?

The staff at Villa Acquaviva Wine Resort were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. We were greeted with a warm welcome and felt right at home. The panoramic view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, providing a truly relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. There were plenty of spots around the resort where we could unwind, read a book, or even take a nap. The surrounding area was serene and beautiful, offering a quiet escape from the busy city life. We also had the pleasure of tasting their delicious red and white wines, which were made from their own crops, as well as their extra virgin olive oil.

During the past 41 years we have visited every region in Italy and stayed at some of the best hotels. Relais Villa Acquaviva now resides in our Pantheon of favorite hotels in the world. The setting in the Italian countryside is superb...you feel one with nature. The entire complex is thoughtfully integrated into the land and the rooms (we had three...one for ourselves, ages 71; our daughter and son-in-law; and two granddaughters, ages 12 and 14)are beautifully done with every amenity possible. The pool and tennis court are both top notch. We ate both nights at the hotel and the meals were, by every measure, gourmet. Our only regret: We only stayed for two nights, which we will remedy next year. thank you fabrizio!

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely surroundings and good pool area. Internet access. High standard of food and good breakfast selection.
No daytime pool drinks or snack service available during second half of our stay (1st week Sept). Delicious fruit salad at breakfast seemed to stop after our second day. Our first room was dark and had very limited drawer space, but the hotel kindly moved us to to another superior room which was bright, excellent and made all the difference to our enjoyment..

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with a swimming pool and a restaurant. The room I stayed in had a balcony with a stunning view. Plus, the proximity to the thermal springs was a great bonus. I was able to visit them early in the morning when it was quiet.
I was disappointed because the wine tour that was initially advertised was not available upon arrival. the restaurant was closed, which meant I had to go out every night for dinner.

Loved the homemade Tuscan dishes at the restaurant, and the generous welcome pack! Also, the fascinating nature walks were a great way to burn off all those calories.
Who needs WiFi in their rooms when you can just stare at the walls all day?

We stayed at Villa Acquaviva for a couple of nights while visiting the Saturnia thermal baths. The resort is in a stunning location, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful trees. The staff were incredibly professional and dedicated to ensuring a wonderful experience. The room was cozy and the breakfast had plenty of options. We also booked a wine tour, which was a great way to experience the passion of the family-owned winery. a perfect getaway for peace and quiet, close to the Saturnia thermal bath.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

the place has a mix of ancient time and modern features for comfort in the middle of the amazing Maremma. I suggest to visit the closed little town of Montemerano, beautiful and magic in the night, i didn't like Saturnia neither the smell of this famous thermal water. Closed to the hotel there is a nice restaurant called La Solina, good balance between price and quality. The surrounded nature, flowers and vinyard make your vacation unique. They have so many rewards.
I suggest the owner to place some comfort chairs under the shadow so u can relax under the grape trees...chairs in the garden, where you would like to spend 90% of the time are not comfortable. A little think for this amazing place.

The tranquility and calmness of the property creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The stunning views of the surrounding vineyards add to the beauty of the location. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with lovely balcony views. The delicious breakfast with options like the ricotta cake is a wonderful start to the day. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service.
The shower in the rooms is on the smaller side and could be more spacious.
