What an absolute gem of a hotel situated in an almost perfect location in the historic centre of the city.

The hotel's location on the canal was stunning, with hundreds of lovely restaurants and bistros to choose from nearby.

Superb location hotel, nice room, excellent service.

Underground carpark near by was very useful and staight forward to find.

It was only when I saw airport queues that I remembered I hadn't checked in online.

Our room was a nice size, light, beautifully furnished with high quality furniture and rugs, a comfortable bed and a large well equipped marble bathroom with good toilettries and thick white towels changed daily.

There were windows on both ends of the room, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was far above average.

Our room was beautiful (queen bed, precious antiques, wooden floors, modern bathroom.

The only complaint I have is that the bath tub was a little strange, we were forced to take baths instead of being able to take showers because the bathtub was situated under a slated roof.

Beautifully decorated in antiques, great king bed, superb marble bathroom.

The hotel restaurant situated about 5 minutes walk away was pleasant, but we had nicer meals at other restaurants in Bruges.

The delicious breakfasts, the friendly staff and the cosy bar completed our perfect stay at this unique residence which we remember as the best hotel on our trip through Europe.

Extendend continental breakfast buffet is served in the very nice hotel restaurant featuring a fireplace and canal views.

Or extremely tender hare in the hotel's own traditional Flemish style restaurant on Xmas Day itself - and yes, many restaurants are open each day.

The breakfast was delicious, but I would really recommend having dinner in the restaurant.

Of the city centre was amazing, the hotel staff were very charming and the service was great.

The staff were all excellent, as was the level of service they offered.

Hotel staff was really friendly and professional, the service was good, the bathroom was large and modern.

The service was great, very friendly, and the staff really make you feel welcome and special - we got engaged whilst staying here and were given complimentary bottle of champagne and a note of congratulations from the management!

The other downside is the car parking although in a nice secure garage this was a good walk from the hotel - with all the luggage it almost finished us off!

If you want a gym, jacussi and spacious lobby for posing - forget it.

The car parking offered by the hotel is actually a public car park 5 minutes walk away.

The room was clean, attractive, well-appointed, and of adequate size.

It had wooden plank flooring, tasteful decor, and a clean, large bathroom.

Our rooms were large, clean and reasonably well appointed- certainly not luxurious but nice.

Breakfast (croissants, rolls, yogurt, fruit, cheeses & meats, cereals, coffee, etc) in the beautiful room overlooking the canal, with starched linens and crystal chandeliers and a fireplace burning.
