Keep in mind that the Corte Del Sole is situated in a rural location.
The location is well place for the west side of Lake Trasimeno and the villages and towns of Southern Tuscany and this part of Umbria.
This hotel was a beautiful location within the Tuscany area to make day trips to other cities, but the hotel was disappointing.
The pool area is excellent, the location is well place for the west side of Lake Trasimeno and the staff are exceptionally friendly.
From the hotel you can easily jump in a taxi and make your way to gorgeous hillside towns like Montepulciano, or Cortona.
Each room is different, and unique, we tried to get around all the rooms to see what each was like, each one had something in it you'd envy from the four poster bed in one room, to another with a jacuzzi bath!
The price was also right - just over 350 Euro for a two bedroom suite with a sitting room (perfect for a family).
It was a suite of three rooms, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished.
Our room most certainly did have a bathroom, a very large and well appointed one with a Jacuzzi.
If the rooms and bathrooms were a bit updated and the service upgraded, this hotel could be a "world's leading hotel.
The breakfasts are amazing, and the restaurant food heavenly.

If this was a week long holiday, either hire a car to see the beauty of the area, or bring a suitcaseful of books to read by the pool.
The staff were brilliant, our room was very clean and at least 5 courses of the most amazing foods we had ever had.
