    The breakfast was adequate and the location was wonderful.

    The location was great, the lobby was so nasty I did not even feel comfortable sitting on the furniture and the staff was very friendly.

    My husband and I decided to take a chance on this hotel because of the location in Columbia.

    Good downtown location, i'd rather stay in a nice hotel elsewhere and the rates were reasonable.

    The room was really warm and when we called down to ask for some additional pillows, the gentleman who brought them up showed us how to open the vent above the door to let in some of the air from the hallway.

    My son and I were only in the room less than 10 hours total, but my short list of problems contained 15 different items.

    The new owners (for about a year now, I think) have completely upgraded the rooms and lobby.

    Obviously, rooms were in short supply over this weekend.

    Had to haggle over room price upon check-in (the young lady DID speak English).

    Clean place to stay for the night, continental breakfast in the Lobby area and customer Service is THE WORST I have ever experienced.

    We did, however, have free entertainment Saturday night, as the drunks came up out of the bar to fight in the parking lot!

    The 'free' breakfast consisted of small apples, rotten bananas and coffee.

    I enjoyed being within walking distance of all the shops in downtown Columbia rather than out on the freeway.

    The rates are reasonable and the product is nice!

    The desk staff was extremely friendly and happy to provide eating and shopping suggestions.

    I was satisfied with the service and my stay.

    The delightful lady at the front desk said we could.

    Our reservations were made through our baseball coach -- who apologized profusely upon our arrival.

    The one negative that's held over from previous ownership is that the elevators are still extremely slow.

    Parking areas were trash-filled w/broken beer bottles.

    Elevators were FRIGHTENING - understand one had been getting stuck on a regular basis.

    The staff was extremely nice and the room was comfortable and clean.

    The delightful lady at the front desk said we could, room was clean.

    The staff was very courteous, the room was comfortable and clean.

        For the age of the facility it was very well cared for and maintained.

        Some of the furniture was pretty worn.

        This facility provided a comfortable night of rest. Ti is reasonably priced, and convent to everything we wanted to do in Columbia.

        Clean place to stay for the night, continental breakfast in the Lobby area and customer Service is THE WORST I have ever experienced. Apparently the owner has decided to make central air seasonal.

        The only complaint we had was that the air/heating system didn't seem to work well.         location was great, room was average nothing fancy, service was poor there were a drunk couple in the next room slamming the door and running down the halls yelling and the front desk was not interested in resolving the matter when I called them at 0130 in the morning.
