Red Lion Salt Lake Downtown Salt Lake City - 盐湖城

The top floor restaurant is very good and the location is fantastic for getting in and out of the city.

In terms of location, I could say that it could be better, but i wasn't dissapointed in the least.

Great location to both sights in SLC and ski areas, maybe 25 to 45 minutes depending on ski resort.

Free wireless internet, free shuttle bus rides to airport or downtown locations.

The courtesy bus was a great way to get around town and to the airport.

King sized bed (pushed together two full size beds) would serve as tattletale that the room was not fully refurbished.

Dining room took an hour and fifteen mintues to deliver a simple salad to my room- The wall paper was peeling off the walls, the bathroom tub water never turned off, there were cobwebs above my mirror in my bathroom.

The beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever been in and the pillows (4 per bed) were great too.

The Sheraton has nicer rooms (although smaller) an incredible bed (the best I have ever slept on) and beautiful views (comparable to the Red Lion).

We had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and it was very good.

The Sky bar is a nice convenience and there is a ski shop across the road that has discount lift tickets.

We only ate breakfast @ the hotel, so I can't rate the other meals, but the local beer on tap was fantastic @ both bars @ the hotel.

Nice restaurant/lounge on top floor, inexpensive diner on 1st floor.

Not sure the towels were ever changed as they were always dingy gray and not white- found a sardine cantainer on the lobby table while leaving one morning- Service staff always had an excuse and there were no managers to be found!

The staff were more than happy to help me 'work around' the situation, the decor was fine and the front desk clerks were attentive and helpful.

There's even an outdoor jacuzzi and pool.

The shuttle drivers are very helpful, and dropped me off wherever I needed to go.

There is a computer in the lobby, but they charge for that too.

My laptop was not equipped with a wireless pc card and the front desk provided both the software and card at no charge.

It still amazes me that whenever I stay at holiday inns, and comfort inns, etc, that they have free wireless internet.

It was a very nice, fresh, clean, up to date room.

The hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable.

Additionally staff were great, our room was very clean.

Fast and prompt service, clean rooms, nice big mirror.

Clean rooms, a little under the quality of Hilton or Little America.
