  The views of the falls.

  I always stay there when I overnight in Idaho Falls. The restaurant has a cute 50's atmosphere and a great breakfast menu.

  First of all, Anya at the front desk is a great asset to this place; she was extremely helpful. I was originally booked into a "poolside" room.

  We left the next morning and saw the Falls for the first time, it would have been nice to get the room I was promised because the falls are nice.

  I was told when I booked the room that we would be "up in the Tower with a view of the Falls. Instead we got a handicapped room on the second floor with a view of the back of Applebees. When I tried to use the 24 hour fitness center and hot tub, I was told by security that I "better head back to my room" if I did not want to get a noise complaint since I was upset that the hot tub was not open and it was 1:00 in the morning. Then when they admited that the Hot tub was acutally broken I realized I had been taken by Red Lion on this trip. The gentleman that helped us when we checked in Friday night was very curt and when we asked if we could see another room we were told the hotel was full and the room we were in was our only choice.

  It has great service and beautiful rooms in the tower.

  If you book your rooms online you get put in the pool side rooms.

  The hotel has friendly staff, spacious, comfortable rooms (fridge, coffee, microwave) and a lovely view of the adjacent falls and walking trail. The wireless connection was a little spotty on the upper floor but was free and worked great in the lobby.

  We usually get the rooms in the tower which are excellent.

  However this time we got a room facing the pool (not in the town totally seperate). The paint was crumbling off the ceiling in the bathroom, mold on the tiles and baseboards, stains in the tub. The bathroom was smaller that my motorhome. It was so dirty that we were afraid to even sleep in the beds on the sheets.

  The location of the hotel is nice and the walk along the greenbelt is pretty.

  This hotel needs a complete makeover, from the rooms to the staff. Upon checkin, we were given room keys that would not work. When we opened the door, the room was full of someone else's belongings-clothes, computers, everything. Not a very comforting feeling knowing they could be giving out keys to your room. When we finally got our room, we opened the door to the smell of smoke permeating everything from the drapes to the bedspreads, etc.

  The staff was very attentive and friendly, the rooms were decently priced, and the food in the restaurant was wonderful.

  It has the best view in the city, overlooking the towns namesake, and the rooms were very spacious. Yes the rooms are older but they are upkept very well. Iwill always stay at the Red Lion when I am in town, as long as they have room for me.

  Beautiful location, very comfortable beds, couldn't tell anyone else was even staying in the hotel it was so quite. Also enjoyed the name brand of soaps, shampoo and conditioner.
