Fitness center looked very nice, renovated hotel and for the price I paid around $50 a night I was very happy.
Well, I used Booked.net, and got this hotel at a great price.
Why spend extra money at the hotel when you can spend it at one of the many brew pubs!
Yes, it is a budget-quality hotel and had a budget-quality price at the time we stayed.
The hotel is conveniently located to the airport (10 minutes) and the major travel corridors.
The journey to/from the airport took 25 minutes with a stop at the Doubletree Hotel, nearby.
Room was fine, king size bed, big bathroom, plenty of towels, shampoo, etc.
When we asked to change rooms for the following night, they still could not “find a clean room with a king size bed.
I had a nice room with a King Size Bed on the 4th Floor overlooking the pool and it was fabolous.
We booked and pre-paid for a room with a King bed on Booked.net.
Room had not been renovated, but it was in pretty good shape, bright, plus comfortable bed.
Room was fine, the restaurant bar/lounge was great.
Room was clean quiet, the breakfast bar was very nice.
We didn't eat any meals in the hotel as there are many (albeit fairly standard) restaurants nearby.
Fortunately, there were restaurants walking distance from the hotel (something we learned since hotel restaurant closes in the middle of the day).
We made the mistake of eating dinner in the hotel restaurant where the food was barely edible.
The night staff was great (we arrived late), and the customer service skills of most of the front desk staff were very good.
The service staff was fantastic right down to housekeeping.

Great hotel for 3 stars and nice lobby area.
They were eager to answer my questions about bus schedules and even informed me about their own shuttle schedule.
The entrance to the hotel is hard to find and the free shuttle downtown is confusing to use at first.
Now we come to the "free wireless internet" that was advertised.
They made you feel at home and they kept our room very clean and always said Hi when you met them down the corrider.
We thought the lobby was very nice and our room was clean and nicely furnished.
The room was clean, the food in the Amberstone Grille was great and check-in was quick and efficient.
My room was on the 5th and it was clean but dated.
The front desk man stated that someone had just checked out of a non-smoking room that he would go clean it for me so I could move.
