Rancho Bernardo Inn San Diego - 圣迭戈

We had a quick trip to San Diego, and decided to stay at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, due to the location and proximity of a few business meetings scheduled.

Upon arrival we realized the folks forgot their clothes, that was a hoot, but we remedied it by shopping at the nearby mall, which was an added plus to the location of this resort.

The best thing about the location is the proximity to the Wild Animal Park and rancho Bernardo Inn is a great property for strolling as is multi-level.

It's only a short drive (25 min) from the airport.

We had a room with two Queen beds and although nice, I thought the rooms with the King bed were even better.

Our room was spacious and well-decorated, and had a very comfortable bed and a nice patio.

To my knowledge, this bathroom set up is exclusively for the “golf view” rooms and is one reason we booked this room category.

The rooms were nice especially my room that had a balcony overlooking the pool and hot tub.

I’m not sure if all of them are set up the same way, but both King rooms in our party were set up this way (although one did have a hide-a-bed in the sofa and the other did not).

Food was excellent, although dinner for 2 in the restaurant costs about $160+tip, with breakfast for 2 approx.

We did have breakfast at the Veranda restaurant and this was a very good meal.

We did not dine at El Bizcocho, but thoroughly enjoyed breakfast in the Veranda restaurant, overlooking the golf course.

Lunch included wonderful dining on the bricked terrace of the Veranda Restaurant.

The following morning we had breakfast at the Veranda restaurant, a too cool name for an average breakfast room.

The concierge was great and the front desk staff was very friendly.

First, let me say that all the staff at the front desk and concierge were extremely knowledgable and helpful.

We had a terrific room, 625, with beautiful views of the valley and golf course, and was centered over the spa’s pool.

The outdoor "adult" spa pool and cabanas were nice.

The jacuzzi next to the adult pool was great and the food was good.

I was able to catch up with my work with the wireless and high speed internet connection while I was listening my Ipod thru the hotel's stereo system which includes DVD, Ipod connection with a powered stereo system.

Wireless access was fast and easy, food was excellent, both dinners were amazing.

The entire place was clean, staff was very friendly and the rooms at the Inn were also excellent.

The rooms are spacious, well-furnished and clean.

Our room was spacious and clean with a private patio at the adult pool.

Our ground floor room was cool and clean, very welcome after the initial problems.

The service is perfect, the rooms are clean and some of the best food I have had.
