We had a wonderful Christmas vacation at a small resort with a great beach. The spacious rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the pool, which had a great view and waterfalls. The slide was a blast for our kids and they enjoyed the various pool activities. We appreciated the good food at the restaurant and the affordable spa services offered.

The resort was a bit isolated and there weren't many options for eating or shopping nearby. While the location was picturesque, we missed some nightlife and activities.

The location is beautiful! Staff very helpfull and fantastic rooms in unit 1 with oceanviews.

We had a very good experience with the resort - beginning with the customer service when we made changes to our reservations while still in Denver and concluding with the time as we arrived and had received a requested ocean view for our stay. Rancho Banderas is almost a throwback to a time when the most important thing was for a guest to have a truly restorative experience - which we did. The facility outdid our expectations and we would love to return someday.

We were accosted at the airport with someone who seemed to be connected to the facility trying to put us into a timeshare presentation. While he was very nice, he was also extrememly pushy that we make some sort of decision. It was not a good start for us. When we arrived at the facility there was also an attempt to get up so attend a presentation but it was lower key. However, by that time we were so over being sold into anything.

We stayed in a one-bedroom villa with a small kitchen and ample supplies; perfect for making meals. The bathroom was nice but nothing fancy. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was secluded by lush jungle. It was close to 2 miles down the beach and the lower pools. The convenience store on the property had all of your essentials.

The restaurant was not as good as advertised by other guests.

This hotel is truly luxurious! From the moment I arrived, I felt like royalty. The exclusive amenities were beyond my expectations, especially the private facilities that made my stay even more comfortable. The swimming pool was amazing and the Spa & wellness centre was heavenly. The service was exceptional, and the staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. The room advantages were exclusive, with beautiful interiors and a breathtaking view, making me feel like I was on top of the world. The location advantages were also worth mentioning, providing a serene and tranquil environment that was perfect for relaxation.

The only minor issue was the restaurant, where the food fell short of my expectations. Although there were plenty of options, the quality was not up to par with the other exclusive amenities that the hotel had to offer.

The beach was amazing, with clear water and soft sand. The pool was beautiful, with comfortable lounge chairs. A highlight was the spacious villa, complete with a balcony and kitchenette.

The restaurant service was slow at times. The lack of activities may be boring for some vacationers.
