This historic converted palace has one-of-a-kind rooms, beautiful gardens with peacocks, great bar, and incredible indoor pool. Some feel it's too tourist-oriented and getting old, but many love the top-notch service and stunning architecture.

Overview

The Rambagh Palace is located just 11kms from the airport and is near all the main shopping areas, historical monuments and forts and all the unique markets of Jaipur. The Palace was home to generations of royals for over two centuries.

In 1925, it became the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. It remained the home of the Jaipur royal family until 1957, when it was first converted into a luxury hotel by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. The Palace grounds are spread over 47acres.

The Palace offers 79 rooms including suites, which were the personal chambers of the former Maharaja. Every room and suite have been done up to reflect the world of royalty with exquisite antiques, rich tapestries and paintings. Royal butlers ensure that all your needs will be met and they can assist you with competent advice on anything ranging from a historical introduction to the Palace, to selection of cuisines, setup of private dinners, customized spa treatments and shopping excursions in Jaipur.

Our guests can relax at the exclusive tented Jiva Grande Spa which offers traditional Indian rejuvenation therapies and Signature Jiva Spa experiences.

A wonderful dining room and fabulous restaurants.
Also the food served in the two main restaurants was excellent.
Large plush bedrooms, the lovely Polo Bar and the food in every restaurant was fabulous.

All the shops looked wonderful, the fountains, flowers and the sweet fragrance, the epitome of luxury in a palace setting. The staff were really friendly, the bathroom was fine and the mini bar was in a magnificent mahogony dresser and the writing desk was lovely. The food services were excellent.

Restaurants and public areas is fantastic, our best hotel experience in India. The service is amazing, rooms are really vasts, and well appointed too, the food is excellent. The spa is gorgeus as is the pool the gardens are amongst the most beautiful we saw in rajhastan.

Heritage of the hotel makes a great place to stay in Jaipur and service was exceptional. The beds were wonderful and the drinks were long and the Pimms No 1 was one of the best I have ever had.

Definately worth staying at in Jaipur and great Service. Very nice renovated rooms, a cool towel and attentive and knowledgeable about the food. Bouquets of flowers and fresh fruit waited for me, must say, its authentic Palace and utmost luxurious, beautiful gardens.
