Ramada Plaza London Gatwick Airport

A good location that is only 4 miles from Gatwick Airport.

The location is adequate for people need to catch the return flight form Gatwick, setting the air con to warm we headed for the bar and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

The location and standard of the rooms were adequate (4 stars is a bit of a stretch though, more like 3), but the issues with the staff attitudes have led me to give only 1 star.

We got a taxi there from the airport which cost £12.

On the way back to the airport to pick up our car the next morning we took the hoppa bus.

The bathroom stank of damp and the bed was considerably smaller than the beds in the standard rooms, so that was odd.

The Ramada Plaza's rooms were better than I expected---actuallly nicer than the common areas: nice beds, 2 fluffy pillows, duvet cover not a ratty bedspread, flat panel TV & nice, very clean bathrooms with big towels; halogen dimmable bedlights.

Room was good size, good decour, big comfy bed, and loved the plasma TV.

105, very nice, good size, double bed, plenty of pillows, wide screen lcd, good bathroom.

Good "bed only" room rate, food reasonable and modern Indian.

We grabbed a snack in the bar was fine, the evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and thought the overall facilities were excellent.

They cooked our eggs to order hard (they are normally runny and we don't like that) and the service in the restaurant and the bar was excellent.

The bar staff were polite and efficient, the breakfast was a nice relaxed affair.

We left at some ungodly hour to get to the airport so didnt use the restaurant but we did have a drink in the bar which was a typical hotel bar - overpriced and unfriendly and we also had to wait a long time to be served our £3.

Bar is good, breakfast - 2 full english - superb and also the menu must be changed.

The service we recieved from all members of staff was excellant.

Very convenient for Gatwick airport, particularly good hotel service and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

As a bonus to the great hotel and the reception staff were very friendly.

The swimming pool was small, but warm, and there was also a jacuzzi and two gyms.

Small but adequate pool and gym, good meal in Arts restaurant.

There is also a pool and gym area which looked very nice although we never got to use them.

Parking overnight cost £12 stay clear, reception was friendly and quick, the room was very clean.

Room was clean and spacious, the food was really nice.

The rooms are clean and we didn't try the main restaurant for.

Modern in style, friendly staff and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Clean warm comfortable room, good breakfast and we used the lovely pool too.
