For the price, I'd definitely recommend another hotel.
As for the Grand Okanagan Resort, it has a terrific downtown lakeside location, but the room prices are anything but reasonable!
Aside for a good location, across the street from the BC interior’s largest shopping mall, the Ramada’s greatest strength is the interested and engaged staff.
Nice comfortable king size bed and the jet-tub in the bathroom was perfect!
I called reception and told them I found bed bugs and asked to switch rooms.
39;suite' that was probably once one big room they'd built a dividing wall in to make into 2 tiny rooms.
The bed was comfy, the carpet seems new, the TV is a reasonable size, and the furniture dates to the late ‘80’s.
Hotel had a free wireless internet in the room, staff at the front desk was helpful and cheerful, the Manhatten suite in we stayed was very nice.
The staff was very friendly, beds were comfortable and breakfast at the other restaurant was good too.
There is a restaurant in the same building where you can get a (bad) breakfast.
Furthermore bathroom was clean, food in the Perkins restaurant was adequate at best.
I did not eat at the restaurant however I did eat at the pub.
We were within walking distance of many restaurants, pubs and shops.
Next to the lobby very handy the entrance to Perkins restaurant and very friendly service at the front desk.
The front desk staff were all nice in appearance and the room was clean enough.
Convenient location for shopping as the mall was across the street, hotel had a free wireless internet in the room and the front desk staff were all nice in appearance.

There were 2 doors one to the hallway and one to the parking lot!
The lobby of the hotel is a bit old , but for us this did not matter.
39;ve got a nice courtyard patio and the entrance lobby is mis-leadingly nice.
Pool was a bit small, however we only cared about a clean room to stay in so this was not an issue.
We ended up with a nice clean 1 bdr suite on the back of the hotel (quieter side).
