Raffles Grand Hotel D'angkor, only minutes away from the ruins in Angkor, is reminiscent of the British colonial era. It exemplifies the Raffles reputation and is classy with old-world touches, such as a cage elevator. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms are decorated with local artifacts, the grounds are beautiful, and the amenities are top-notch. The pool is extraordinary and there are eight restaurants and bars to choose from after you're done visiting the temples.

Having charming patio the Café d'Angkor offers local and Asian dishes. Serves breakfast from 6am to 10am, lunch – from noon to 2.30pm and dinner – from 6pm to 10pm.

Elephant Bar is famous for its signature cocktails, it is open daily from 4pm to midnight.

Restaurant Le Grand offers ancient cuisine of Royal Khmer and fine list of wines. Works from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

The Apsara Terrace is decorated with original boundary stones of Cambodia and wooden gates where traditional Khmer dances are performed. Menu features pan-Asian cuisine and barbecue.

My room was perfect and the food was very good.
Furthermore the staff was attractive, the rooms were really nice and the fine dining restaurant was simply superb.
Rooms have high ceilings and including the free breakfast at the red roof inn.

Old luxury hotel compare to the new 5stars hotels and the staff are paid about 80 US dollars a month. The rooms are classic colonial, the bar is very relaxing and the service excellent, the bathtub is huge. The fusion restaurant is fantastic, wine list read very well and the guest relations manager of Raffles is a big supporter.

The staff were very friendly and the guest relationship manager was very helpful. The room was good and the sauna was cooler then outdoor temperatures. The breakfasts were amazing, the eggs Benedict were superb and the dinner was exceptional. The pool was clean, attractive.
