The hotel was nice for the price, the staff was very helpful and professional, bathroom size were adequate.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and for Globus, pay attention to your paying customers and make a change in hotels here.
My advice is to pay a little extra and find a better hotel.
Some people in our group took the bus as the center of town was not walkable.
The room and shower were nice enough, but the bed was indeed too firm.
The room and bathroom size were adequate.
The icing on the cake was when a big bug crawled across my bed and woke me up in the middle of the night.
I shouldn't complain too much though, the small bathroom is so tiny that one can brush one's teeth whilst using the toilet (yep it is THAT close to the wash basin).
The rooms were clean, however the air conditioning is shut off at night.
I thought breakfast was fairly adequate and the staff was nice as well.
The continental breakfast was very skimpy to say the least.
The breakfast provided was okay but the group dinner provided by the hotel was very blah.
At breakfast we could enjoy: cold hard-boiled eggs, stale croissants, minimal cereals, and the off butter from dinner the night before.
The food is not so good, and the waitresses were down right rude!
The front-desk staff spoke fairly good English and shower were nice enough.
So for anyone considering this hotel, then all I can say is that we rate a hotel from feedback received and 99% of our clients have been more than happy with the quality and service received at the Raffaello Hotel, Florence.
On a brighter note, the staff was very helpful and professional.
Despite the first negative impression, though, I found it a very decent and comfortable place, quiet, with good service.
Relative near to city center and the free shuttle bus to the town.
Great Services & Great price, nice clean rooms and continental breakfast included cereals.
