  Great for walking through the city, beautiful Hotel and mostly because of the historical nature of the building. Luxury at an affordable price and the lobby was amazing. Staff were extremely accommodating and the room was comfy. The bar was quiet and food was good in the Restaurant.

  The carpeting in the hall near the elevator was filthy, the sheets were old there was considerable hole marks in the stitching.

  Good location to get around in Scranton and the old train station gives the hotel a lot of character. The building itself is great, the lobby is spectacular and staff is friendly. Shower is nice and breakfast brunch is outstanding, valet parking was fantastic.

  Well worth the price for the location and the authetic steamtown ambience, great Historic Hotel. Room interiors were nice and the service was the best I've ever experienced. The bed was comfortable and the food was good.

  Good value, good service, central location, wonderful hotel and neat historic building. Great bellman beautiful lobby, staff were very nice and the bathrooms were about the size of a large closet.

  Great location too, neat Historic Hotel and the food was as wonderful and was complimented by the service and dinning in the impressive lobby. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and the bathrooms were especially nice.

  The location is good, the rooms are outdated, and carmen's is a huge disappointment, the atmosphere is beautiful, the service is very good and helpful. The bathroom has a cheap plastic liner in the tub/shower and the two bars are great. The restaurant is excellent.

  The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the Lobby is beautiful. The main dining room is spectacular, and the food is good, the Tuscany Chicken on the dinner menu is great.

  Beautiful lobby and very nice place. Service was very good and the bed was great and the bathroom was wonderful. From the staff, to the waitress in the restaurant, everyone was very polite.

  The hotel was historic and beautiful, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was a good value and was comfortable.

  Two different front desk staffers had no idea anything was located in the city and the food was small and not that great.

  The hotel would make a nice honeymoon opportunity, the resturant overtakes the beautiful waiting room and has no appeal.

  I traveled here on business, and this hotel was gorgeous, the staff were very nice. The room was clean, the food drinks were reasonably priced and very good.

  I loved the history of the place, and the rooms were quite comfortable, the service personnel at the desk were friendly and helpful. I actually cleaned the tub before i got in because there was hair in, the bar staff were very nice.
