Great location for families since village is traffic-free, the train journey itself is an interesting one and a brilliant stay would go back again.
Great location for families since village is traffic-free and the apartments are spacious for a French ski resort.
It is in a great ski - in ski-out location.
A great Resort and if you can fly into an airport other than Grenoble for a shorter transfer time then so much the better.
The transfer from the station is only about 30 minutes.
The bedroom was lovely with large and very comfortable beds, and the living room area was very comfortable and spacious also.
The apartments are spacious, and the one bedroomed, which we have had in the past and big enough for a family with two small children, however now that ours are growing we need the two bedrooms + two bathrooms.
Very nicely furnished, good quality bed linen, lovely bathrooms - fab.
Two more people could stay in there by using a pull out double sofa bed.
We stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment which was wonderful.
The kitchen facilities were excellent which was just as well as we only ate out twice in a week because the quality of food in the restaurants Luigi's and Chicanos in 1950 was nothing short of appalling.
We only ate in two restaurants, Il Valentinos was an average Italian and East was great - try the Menu Mongolian BBQ, absolutely fantastic and far too much for one person!
1950 itself is quite small with only a few restaurants to choose from and the spar was quite expensive compared to the supermarket we visited at St.
The l'Arc restaurant on the slopes above 1950 is a startling excpetion with great food, brilliant ambiance and fantastic service - no wonder it is fully booked days in advance.

The place was lovely, staff were friendly and the accommodation was really well equipped.
We had a brilliant time - the hotel is very good, offering ski-in/ ski-out facilities and a wellness centre with a steam room, saunas, jacuzzi and swimming pool.
Heated outdoor pool and sauna etc was so clean and all included in the cost.
Better choices at 1800, local anecdotes during well earned rests and the children loved the outdoor pool.
Moreover the staff were super, apartment was spotless and sauna etc was so clean.
