Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town - 开普顿

The hotel was MUCH better than expected primarily because of its location close to the V & A Waterfront and right on the ocean.

First of all the location is excellent, right next to Waterfront complex and convenient for trips around the Cape.

The location to the V&A Waterfront (shopping, tons of dining options) was perfect and the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the waterfront every half hour.

No great hardship, lots of taxis at CT airport.

Rustled up taxis on demand in about 30 seconds.

The room was great, the bed was huge, the bathroom with big oval bath was super!

We stayed in a business class room which was very large and had a bedroom area which could be partitioned off, handy for separating us from our daughter who slept on the comfortable sofa bed.

There was a large king-sized bed in one room.

The rooms are nice and spacious, the bathrooms are equipped with a large bath-tube and a big shower cabin.

Sea front terrace bar and dining area was perfect for excellent breakfasts and ambient chill out evenings under the stars.

The bar area, although not that large, also had seating in and out, and when the restaurant area wasn't in use, would spread into that area.

The bar and outside patio were fantastic and the breakfast buffet was a feast.

The rooms are great, the bar and restaurant and cool and the service good too.

The bar and restaurant were as near to the sea as possible without being in it.

We felt we received very good service from the front desk personnel, the concierge, the hotel staff and the restaurant staff.

We found the staff friendly and efficient, the concierge service always happy to help, the shuttle bus to the waterfront as regular and reliable as clockwork (although only an hourly service).

Lacking a fitness center, it also gives lifts and free passes at the bottom of each hour to a nearby commercial gym and health club, which is really a splendid place if you have the time.

This hotel sits right on the water and has a lovely dining/pool/cocktail terrace.

Pool is quite small and was out of action - probably too cold, the terrace was nice and chilled with large wicker chairs on the ocean front and felt there was quite a nice buzzing atmosphere without the place being too busy.

Free wireless internet was a plus as we brought our laptop along.

Free wi-fi is a bonus for those who need to keep in touch.

The rooms itself is quite small but it has everything you need and is clean and tidy.

The view was beautiful and the room itself was large, spotless and bright.

Our room was lovely, pretty spacious and very clean.

Room was superb and always spotlessly clean - with view over ocean (and dolphins).
