The rooms and suites (one of which has its own pool and Jacuzzi) are contemporary and have nice furnishings. The location is gorgeous on 2,000 acres that overlook the Ria Formosa lagoon. The facilities are incredible, especially for those who are more athletic: there are four golf courses, horseback riding, three heated pools, tennis courts, and a beach and spa. The staff is great, as well.

Located in the beach area of Algarve, Quinta Do Lago is a attractive and well-equipped 5-star property that offers tennis court, spa and indoor heated pool as well as WLAN internet access for corporate travelers. Founded in 1988, Quinta Do Lago underwent a complete renovation in 2010.

Friendly staff, lovely apartment and wonderful breakfast on the terrace sets you up for the day. Private pool.

Externally the hotel is now beginning to look dated and bar prices are expensive.

Fantastic location and view, some of the best beaches on the Algarve a short drive away, the position of the hotel is spectacular and the veiws across the estuary beautiful. The staff are very attentive, the rooms overlooking the lagoon/garden are wonderful and the Breakfast is very very good.
