Very nice location in Funchal and the hotel has a wonderful garden.
Quiet location and minibus into Funchal is useful - dont try to walk down.
A little far from town but transport readily available.
Location is about 10 minutes drive from central Funchal and the entire hotel is spotelssly clean.
A lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings providing excellent accommodation, attentive and friendly staff, the room had been cleaned.
Large bathroom and clean towels for every occupant on the sunbeds.
Quality were superb, all of the staff we encountered were polite and the room was spacious.
All in all a fantastic small hotel, the staff helpful and friendly, toiletries daily in the pleasant bathroom.
The room was large and as the food was hot.
The bar / cafe by the pool was good too, food at both restaurants was of a high standard and the wine menu was excellent.
The elegant à la carte dining room is a classic gentleman's residence, the food in the a la carte restaurant is excellent.
The lunchtime snacks at the pool bar were very good, the food was superb.
The rooms are spacious, the food in the various restaurants is really good and the local population is very friendly.
The staff are charming, rooms are excellent and the food in the many restaurants is good.

From the pool terrace there is a panoramic view over the town, breakfast is served in an elegant setting and all the staff are very helpful.
Evening meals are good, the pool is quiet and peaceful.
One located in the old house offers an excellent, friendly staff and our rooms were huge and spotless.
Furthermore clean room and the pool bar staff were delightful.
Bedrooms were spotless and the lunchtime snacks at the pool bar were very good.
This hotel is the best my wife, the staff are brilliant and rooms are kept spotless.
