Quest Savoy Hobart - 霍巴特

Very good location and delightful hotel superbly located in the Hobart CBD.

The location was great for the all the family, the room I had was spacious.

The location was ideal for sightseeing in Hobart and the rooms were of an excellent size.

The hotel is situated on part of Elizabeth Street which only buses and taxis are permitted to enter; passenger vehicles are prohibited.

The Quest Savoy Hotel is located almost in the Hobart city centre, alongside the metropolitan bus terminus and across the road from one end of the city's Mall.

The room was very large, modern and clean with a big bathroom (spa bath), kitchenette, lounge area and 2 big twin beds, plus extra storage space.

This means you can watch TV in bed (uncomfortable, because the stand is too high on the pillar) or from the couch, diagonally across the room.

We knew going in that we were staying at the "apartments" across the street from the main hotel, that we'd have to walk up stairs to our room and that we only had a shower, no tub.

The bathroom was huge (not a complaint), a reflection that the hotel accommodation has been converted from some earlier format, so it is likely that not all rooms will be the same.

The usefulness of the space is somewhat constricted, however, by a large pillar (holding a TV on a swivel stand) between the foot of the bed and the entry area.

Breakfast packs are provided and basic breakfasts are also available in the hotel but there is no regular dining onsite.

We usually go to Beaujangles in the adjacent shopping mall for a good coffee and cooked breakfast, and for lunch we've always had great food and service at Nourish cafe another block north along the main street.

For dinner there are plenty of great restaurants around the harbour, two blocks away.

The complimentary continental breakfast was nice.

It's a 5-10 minute walk to the wharf restaurant precinct and Salamanca Place.

Additionally there was also a Spa/Baths in the same building was fabulous for massages, reception staff were courteous and pleasant, the receptionist was not very friendly or helpful.

Reception is one floor up from the street entry level, and staff there are friendly and very helpful.

Located within the CBD made great for our porposes and the staff were really helpful and attentive.

For more relaxation there is a very luxurious day spa in the basement with swimming pool, jet spas, sauna, steam room, massages etc.

There is a valet parking space out the front so no need to look for a carpark.

There is no parking onsite but the hotel has an arrangement with a multi-storey carpark in the next block so you only pay a flat $5 each time you exit.

The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and tidy.

The position close to most attractions the kitchen had good facilities, the staff were helpful and the rooms were tidy and clean.

The hotel rooms are well furnished and we've always found them to be very clean.

The room I had was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The room was small-ish, but it was modern and clean.
