Great location, efficient reception and rooms cleaned daily and spacious.

The location is excellent and staff have always been friendly.

The outside of these apartments looks a little tired and the stairs are very spartan, but the location is fabulous - walk to the city, or get a tram 2 minutes away.

Fitzroy and its eclectic shops, bars and restaurants is an easy walk, and Lygon St a 5 minute taxi ride.

The fridge didn't close properly most of our food went off in the fridge.

Reception staff were helpful letting us park on site before checking in, we enjoyed the spacious rooms.

Good service by staff, excellent accommodation.

The staff at reception are good, and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff was extremely helpful, checkout were efficient and the cheap old TV only worked sometimes.

The location was convenient, and the offered discounted passes to the Melbourne Baths nearby (gym and pool).

In the pool area, the pool and spa were freezing cold and the spa would fit 2 persons max.

Really interesting bars and as well as laundry facilities.

Position was good for great restaurants, i was able to stay close to the CBD and the apartment was well equiped and clean.

The Metropole staff greeted us in a very friendly, the rooms were very clean and spacious.

And one time they didn't come to clean on a public holiday and we ran out of toilet paper!

PS they didn't have "Do not disturb" sign so we had to open the door whenever they came to clean the room, and the first day they came at 9.

    A large dining area and we enjoyed our short stay at the apartment. The staff was extremely helpful, checkout were efficient and the cheap old TV only worked sometimes.

    Quiet area, overall a great stay and reasonable rates. The friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Stained plus the toilet didn't flush properly, gardens are quite nice.
