The best part is the location, in the heart of the city and close to everything.

Nice central location at a reasonable price. While the room we were offered fell far short of expectations (see below), when I complained, I did get an upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment for the second night.

We booked a studio, which I understand to consist of a largish room with a sleeping area and a separate kitchenette and sitting area. What we were offered was a small hotel bedroom. What purported to be the sitting area was a small table at the end of the bed and 2 very uncomfortable chairs. The "kitchenette" consisted of a small fridge in a cupboard, just like a hotel mini-bar. There was no sink - the only appliances were a kettle, which had to be filled from the bathroom sink and a microwave. This is not, in my book, a studio.

Location in centre of city and ease of access to airport.

Bathroom of minimum size with minimal bench space for personal items - common to many new accommodation locations

Fantastic location in the centre of the city, where every thing is happening and with the tram outside the door.

The location. the heaters in living area and bathroom.

Reported a flat tyre on car next to ours in car park, reception said they would inform owners, they didn't. These people were on the way to the airport when they discovered it. Fire doors constantly wedged open, two hangers only in wardrobe, when we requested more two only were brought so we had to request a few more-made to feel like we were being awkward! Lighting was also very poor everywhere, bright but bad for make up/shaving. Bathroom had absoutely no room to store keep anything in, only enough room for toothbrushes, although the bathroom was modern & the shower good and the tap was so stiff we could hardly use it.

The friendly, easy going helpfulness of all staff. The perfectness (not sure if that is a word) of the location. The ease of the web site to book a room from within N.Z and from overseas.

We all found the rooms too warm and there was no a.c.

our stay at Quest Christchurch was a very pleasant one from start to finish. The staff on reception were very efficient and had us checked in and an upgrade from a one bed to a three bed given very quickly. The apartment was very clean and comfortable .

Went for the rugby and the ajoining rooms were well fitted out and suited our needs perfectly for 2 couples. well situated in the heart of the city and great private, clean hotel room.

We really enjoyed the location and found the set up for 2 couples having their own bathrooms, toilets and your own tv in the second room great for privacy. Also enjoyed having tea coffee facilities in the second room so if you wanted a drink at any time you did not disturb the other couple

Our second night (saturday) was interupted intermittedly by the upstairs guest. Who sounded as though he was dropping weights on the floor!!!!!. It was totally unacceptable level of noise and continued most of the night. Fortunately he checked out the next day..

The warm room and the chance to get away, comfortable bed and the chance to get a rest.

The location, standard of accomodation at such a good $ rate. Very impressed with bathroom facilities and personal hygiene items available - seemed a better quality than the mass produced ones you get at other hotels/motels.

The charge for the overnight carpark - $12 seemed very steep for one night.
