  The Queens Hotel is the best hotel we have stay in in Brighton. We have previously stayed at Hilton. The food at Queens was much to the normal palate. It was always hot and nicely served. I was staying with my elderly mother and they went out of their way to meet all her needs. Including finding her a wheelchair for her stay.

  The location of this hotel is its best feature. Right on the lanes, and right on water (although we had a view of the lanes) and minutes form the pier (yes, the overrated tourist trap where children go to gamble). Having a triple room is often a risk that it will have a single bed and a double. But this was a very large room with three modern, comfortable beds. The room itself was clean and modern and spacious. It should be though as the room price was at the higher end of the scale for Brighton. But this hotel serves up a very good breakfast. Often a hotel will check to see if a room is available but they didn’t seem to want to even do that.

  The room was large with a great sea view. The bed was very comfotable and larger than average. The bathroom had a bath and was clean and. THe only small grip is they have one four slice self service toaster. Otherwise a great hotel with friendly staff.

  Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel once in August 2006, payed a very cheap price for a 2 night stay via the hotels website, I do recommend booking in advance as much as possible as is cheaper. We have had a standard double room not seaview on both visits, both rooms have been very clean, cleaned daily and very modern and stylish furniture including the bathroom. The price of your stay also includes access to there health spa, including a small swimming pool, not heated but is nice to just have a dip in and out, sauna and steam room and a range of exercise machines and weights. Really can't complain at all about my visit here, nice staff great location right next to the main pier about a 2min walk! FYI it costs about £5 for a cab from brighton station. GREAT PRICE, GREAT SERVICE, CANT COMPLAIN!

  As others have mentioned, getting a room for 1 night at the weekends in Brighton can be a nightmare. Check in was efficient and our fourth floor room was spacious, clean and had a lovely bathroom. No minibar and getting an ironing board was a bit of a mission, involving several phonecalls to reception, but staff were friendly and apologetic. The advantage of not being on the front was a quiet room - that coupled with the nice bed made for a good night's sleep.

  We reserved a family room and had more than enough room - a bedroom with a double bed and another room with a double pull-out couch and a single bed. The room was clean and modern and the bathroom was nice. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and you had the choice of a full English buffet, breads, rolls, jams, cereals, juices, tea and coffee.

  My only negative comment is that the hotel was a little noisy at night because it is next to a bar and club.

  Very central, spacious room, nice shower, tea making facilities, and good choice of breakfast, proper orange juice and lovely fresh fruit, cereals, pastries or a cookie. All for £65 for our twin room so we were very pleased.

  We had a glorious seaview room, it's worth paying the extra, just to watch this priceless view. The room was fabulously spacious & quite funky, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff (our fave being the handsome, Roger, who always wore a smile & was always genuinely happy to see us & was more than happy to deal with any query promptly & efficently), all the other staff were very helpful & upbeat at all times, even the one's u didn't see i. Our room was always cleaned when we returned to it. Would like to add, that everyone knows that Brighton's B&B's can be very expensive & this is the reason we thought we'd fork out an extra tenner each per night & get a big hotel with a seaview room. Would have loved to help a small business, but the prices that are quoted sometimes just for a themed room, for example £150 a night even mid-week is quite ridiculous!

  Room was comfortable, breakfast was really nice and even though we didn't have any, the other food available looked very good and is reasonably priced. The bar area is relaxed and seemed to attract people of all ages, from families to older couples (who the staff seemed to take care of asking if they had a nice day or they could get them anything).

  And the luggage room was not the most secure. However, once we got our room we were pleasantly surprised. Clean, well decorated, up to date, clean. We had wonderful house keeping service and so much space! Friends who were in town the same time as us were wowed at the amount of space we had in our room.
