I love that there were a coffee maker in the room.
The hair dryer in the bathroom did not work and the vending machine in the lobby did not work properly it only wanted to take coins. Besides that I had a good time staying there.

We stay at room # 407. The room smelled like cigaretts. The closet door on the right handle is broken. The front desk button on the telephone didnt work. The air conditioner unit for the heat didnt work. So most of the evening was cold. And when I tried to contact the front desk where was no answer. Non of the tv channels didnt come clear. I dont recommend no one to make reservations at this quality inn

The price of the hotel was good.
We stayed at the hotel at the time of Hurricane Sandy and therefore the trains were not running. I fear that normally the noise from the nearby railway line would have been very disturbing. The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests and the supplies were inadequate.

The location did not look very safe, with police cars all around the place. Price is very high. The train line is 10 meters from the hotel and it is very noisy in the room because of the trains.

How can this hotel still be on Booked.net??? The area is one of the most dangerous in all of New York. Drive-by-shootings, robberies, people are scared to walk outside. Google "Brownsville" and "Bushwick (south)"... At the reception, there is a bullet-proof glass between visitor and receptionist... Stay away!!!

It is very close (about 3 minutes walk) to Broadway Junction station, and from there you can take the subway/trains to go to Manhattan (about 25 minutes). Hotel room was very clean and well kept, everyday. Also staff is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is poor. Sometimes, there was not even enough bread. The location is a bit scary, especially at night (The whole Brooklyn is probably like that). Between hotel and the Broadway Junction station, there are no shops/homes, its almost like an abandoned street. Hotel is very close to the railway line, meaning trains are coming/going very often, which might be bit disturbing to some travelers.
