We found the room to be clean and modern, with a small fridge and room to move (sans sofa bed).

Our room (#21) was in the back, so I don't know if the rooms in the front are insulated from the traffic noise or not, but I like quiet rooms, and I definitely would only stay in one of the rooms that is not facing the street.

Rooms and hallways were very tastefully decorated.

Rooms were very well decorated, and staff very friendly.

A note of caution: This hotel is on a major street and for the rooms facing the street, there is a lot of traffic, especially during rush hours when it is bumper to bumper including big trucks.

There are also shops and restaurants on Racecourse Road, a 5-10 minute walk, and there is a supermarket over there as well where prices may be lower.

Also have a great restaurant on site with fabulous meals.

There are some excellent restaurants nearby at the new "Portside" area - a short walk, one long block from the hotel.

We ate at Chez Laila and I highly recommend it - moderately priced and great food.

There's also a very upscale supermarket at Portside.

We found the front desk staff to be very professional and helpful.

Wireless internet access is available through a third-party provider at fairly reasonable rates, starting at $7.

Overall a very pleasant stay, some good restaurants 10 - 15 minutes walk down the road and 1) Room is clean.

Staff was very helpful, the room was fine and 3) The pool looked like was in need of a clean - leaves everywhere.
